My husband and I have been enjoying Matches for a long time. We love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and the great service!... It never disappoints.... until tonight! Tonight we went out after a spa day and decided to treat ourselves to a stress freeevening and have the cooking done for us. Our server literally did the BARE MINIMUM while every other servers were runningaround with their heads chopped off and working non-stop. Other servers were checking in on us to make sure we had everything weneeded before our own server did! She was brutal. Having worked in the hospitality industry, my husband remarked at how awfulour server was. When she brought us our food, my meal was cold and the vegetables were not cooked. My husband ordered thechicken burger and it was so greasy he could barely eat it. He ended up having to go wash his hands before he finished his mealbecause his hands were so greasy!. Soon after, he started to feel ill from the heavy/overuse use of oil. It was gross. I orderedthe cajun chicken which is usually amazing. Tonight, it was gross. Too much oil, the chicken had a lot of fat on it, and thevegetables were cold and uncooked. This was a Saturday fight night and we were looking forward to a fun evening and instead, itturned out to be one of our worst experiences we have had at Matches. We wont be returning anytime soon. Took advantage of half price wine before 6:00 in the casino. Excellent service. The bartender was very friendly and took great... care of our table of 7. Very good value in a fun atmosphere. Read more

Awesome evening at Match. Food was great, drinks were perfect and the server was completely awesome! If you decide on an evening... at Match, all of the food was delicious. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it has a honey glaze on the crust, which wasexcellent. Our Server, Nana, was absolutely perfect, friendly and professional. Great patio,and Happy Hour pricing. BUT BEWARE. Went for Game day, wasn't till a day later when looking at bill that l noticed... Game day beer pricing was not applied. Went the following Game day, and again Game day pricing not applied. But this time lcaught it. I purchased a few gift card and got some free $10 discount coupon. I went to use to pay for my liquor bill, when Igot bill, only $5 discount was applied. Staff did not tell me this, and no mention on the coupon that this would happen SO KEEPYOUR EYE ON YOUR BILL. Booked ahead so we could get a meal during a work lunch break. Also made note that we needed to be leaving by a certain time... and our greeter said they would try their best. Unfortunately an hour later we had to ask for the meals to be boxed up to go,before they had even reached the table. During that time several other tables came in and received food ahead of us, which wassurprising as we specifically all ordered the same salad, so would have thought it was much quicker to get ready. However othertables were having alcoholic beverages which may have bumped them ahead of business people trying to fit in a sober lunch. Whenwe wanted to pay our bill, so we could get out on time, the server left us without explanation after taking one payment so shecould go and serve drinks at the bar and we had to wait even longer to be able to pay for our boxed up meals and leave. At thispoint she advised us that we picked the wrong day to order because it was busy and made a few comments about how it wasbasically our fault for not getting served.
