The Yellow Deli was delightful! Walking in, it is like entering a tree house. Gorgeous wood decor and our table had pressed... flowers in the lacquer. So pretty! We both had the cranberry cashew salad and it was absolutely delicious. We have been ravingabout it all day! Read more
Amazing restaurant. It has a really nice medieval vibe to it, music is calming and a pleasure to enjoy just being inside. The... decor is probably my favorite about this place, everything made out of wood. The staff is really friendly and they have one ofthe best breakfast sandwiches on the island. Every time I am around this area, I stop by, even if it's quite a bit out of theway. I would recommend to anyone that wants to have a quick bite or just wants a place to sit down from their weary travels???? Read more
A trip to Courtenay, you must do a meal at Yellow Deli Restaurant. First of all the outter building design fill your heart with... inviting vibe of nature and their sign reminded me of the hippie 60's era. As I walk in my heart fill with excitement as if Ihave entered a faires home or as if I have gone into " Lord of the ring's elf house." The inside design was sending a welcoming,relax, positive energy. I checked the Chilieack location on google but it doesn't stirred the soul as much as this one does forme. Nothing had made me smile from the heart for 6 months, and the fod... OMG!!!! My friend and I ordered their spinwich , andruben sandwich and I also ordered a hot apple cider to go with it. IT WAS GOOD!!! My long time no see happy food face????finally comes out. It was , yum, yum, yum. And my tummy is very happy toi. Overall, I wish their building design will be thesame every where, really feel like I am in that mystic forest and enjoying a happy breakfadt there. Beautiful building, delicious fresh food,and thoughtful staff. Today I visited this Deli randomly with no previous info. My wife... and I where impressed with the indoor seating first, soon after was the delicious smells from the kitchen. We where seatedoutside and by our choice and loved the small but unique menu. All bread and food was made there, and you could taste that itwas. So Fresh and delicious! Our server was kind and gave us a brief history of the business when we asked. Insanely weird decor , but such amazing food ????, incredibly nice relaxed servers . A go to place for tourists and locals.. It... was my first time, a friend brought me for lunch and she treated me.
