Bought an epic asada torta that wasn't epic at all at the Del Taco on Citrus Blvd, Covina. When I got home I was hungry and then... I saw the torta. There was an 1in gap on both ends of the bread with no food at all, it was all in the middle and sparingly.When the bread was closed that's all you saw, bread. On a Sunday at about 6PM I tried to eat inside and the employee said I couldn?t because there was only two employees? whatever I... got takeout at the drive through? the soda machine was not working properly every soda was just soda water with no syrup. second del taco location i visited tonight at around 4:15 am and the drive thru is closed. employee is outside, not sure if on... break, with a sign blocking the drive thru. first location i visited they said the system was ?down?. del taco corporate reallyneeds to crack down on this issue. this is like the 20th time it?s happened to me after hours. Today I had a horrible experience at the Del Taco on Citrus Ave. in Covina, Ca. I ordered 2 fish tacos ($5.), 2 chicken... burritos ($6.) and an eight layer burrito ($4.19). So, that is $15.19 plus tax. The bill was $23.34. They didn't tell me thetotal immediately as they usually do after placing the order. After I paid, I could see that they overcharged me, so I went into show them the mistake. I thought they would apologize and quickly correct it. Instead, the person assisting couldn't evenfollow simple logic or do simple math. She kept trying to make their mistake look as if it was correct. She was eitherstubborn, blind, or was trying to rip me off. So, I just asked for a refund. She said, "So, you don't want the food." I said,"No, I just want to be charged correctly, but we can't agree, so I'll take a refund." At first, she didn't give me the fullamount back. After I pointed it out, she did. As I was leaving, she made some kind of a noise to show disgust. I wish I hadturned around and said "It was your mistake." I'm an educator with 36 years of experience in public schools, including math. Actually, all you need is basic common sense and honesty. Of course, I won't be going back to this location. Read more

The staff was great considering they were swamped with people inside and drive thru. The food not so good, the fries were bearly... warm, the burrito was bearly warm as well the cheese was cold the same with the taco meat. I only chose to eat here to use mygift card. Not a great experience for the food. Read more

The fries were mildly warm when recieved. There was no time to go back and make a change. Really disappointed with the burger.... Super thin patty, dry bread, and dry inside.The taco was ok, but barely warm. We feel ripped off, and have never had a worsemeal from Del Taco! Read more
