A nice family restaurant with good food. I couldn?t have enough of the bread rolls. Everyone in town recommended this place and... it didn?t disappoint. I had the 12oz ribeye steak and added the lobster tail. Such a good dinner. Read more

I really wanted this to be a great place - but it is not. We saw the Elvis show, and it was clear that the rural location made... quality talent hard to find. Somewhere between community theater and high school plays is how I would describe it. The foodwas not horrible but not great. The warm, fresh baked cookies that they handed out at the end were very good. The service wasgood, and interesting that some of the cast members were also servers. Some of the magic lost a little when your server is incostume at intermission refilling your tea, however. I did not have a great seat. We sat in front of the sound system, and myview of the stage was blocked for the right third of the stage. Not likely something I will do again for the $60 price tag. Read more

Very nice steakhouse. I was here with family. Large restaurant, clean and friendly staff. We both had the filet mignon, this... was melt in your mouth and cooked just right.. This came with a side which we both had onion rings. We also had a side salad,and a cup of soup. Served with yummy dinner rolls. They apple butter and strawberry jam was delicious. You can walk into to themeat counter to purchase steaks to take home to cook. They also have fish. Read more

First time here. You walk in and there is a meat counter to buy steaks or choose what you will be having for dinner. The... restaurant is very old and woody. Lots of wood tables, walls, everything. It has a very musty smell. The staff is amazingthough very attentive. Alice was her name and she can move and suggest the best things to eat. It wasn't really busy when wearrived it was packed when we left. They bring they puff huge rolls work apple butter and strawberry jam that they make inhouse. It's delicious. I forgot to buy a jar when I left. I ordered the Jack Daniel's soaked bourbon NY Strip steak. Itwasn't bland and not too sweet like the waitress mentioned. I thought the marinate was amazing. It came with soup which I hadthe broccoli cheese and others at the table got bean soup, salad, and the dinner was a huge steak and loaded bake potato. Becareful their loaded is sour cream and nacho cheese. I asked for the shreeded cheese. Others got the fisherman platter it hadfrog legs, cod, shrimp, and something else all deep fried. I never tried frog legs very good and lightly breaded. I have waytoo full for dessert. When we left it was very busy. The average cost for a meal is $25.00 and up. Historic restaurant with amazing rolls. The inside definitely needs some sprucing up, the ?leather? chairs at our table were all... torn or cracked and the wheels need to go. The food was good, my gravy was runny and the chicken thigh was the smallest I?veever seen. Soup was good, salad was a normal house salad. Read more
