For me, this place is just a short, pleasant stroll up Main Street, so I've made it my go-to WFH morning fix. If I could be more... precise, I'd rate 3.4/5 based on the quality of food/drink and service. I've tried some of the breakfast menu items (sandwichesand burritos) and have been a bit disappointed because I'm not quite having the indulgent, greasy-spoon diner kind of experienceI'd most enjoy. (Read: I wish the chef would use a bit more butter on the grill!) Thus, I rate the overall grill quality asperfectly okay. The coffee is much the same story--expect a cup that is on par for a local coffee house (I'm a latte drinkermyself) but nothing that is going to change your life. The staff are friendly and responsive, though I've noticed that theyseem to be understaffed at peak hours. I was once very disappointed when I spent 15 minutes standing in line only to suddenly beinformed (along with a lot of others, some of whom had been waiting a good deal longer than I had) that because of the backlog, the kitchen was going to stop taking food orders for an indeterminate amount of time. The proper way to handle that kind ofsituation would be to put up a note on the front door and to let any incoming -NEW- customers know that the kitchen istemporarily closed. Conversely, I think it's unforgivable to tell a dozen or so customers who have all been waiting patientlyfor 15 to 30 minutes that they've now effectively wasted all of that time, and "Oops, sorry, have a nice day!" If it's going totake a bit longer, we get it! These things happen, but you should simply apologize and give your patient customers the option tocontinue waiting! This particular incident was especially frustrating because the dining area wasn't even particularly full, soit was obvious that they were grossly understaffed and had simply given up and decided to take the easy way out. On a morepositive note, I'll add that some of their in-house baked goods (crumbles, turnovers, cheesecakes, etc. Read more

Searching for new coffee shops and bakeries to try, this one caught my attention, and I was glad that I visited! I loved the... ambience and the setup was very relaxing! One thing that stood out were the art pieces that were on the walls, as well as thefact they had business cards from local artists (always support local)! The staff were very polite and helpful with everything, and I got the breakfast sandwich with goetta with a cappuccino. And as for the baked good, I highly recommend trying the cherrycheesecake! Probably the best cheesecake I had IMO! Overall, definitely worth a visit! Read more

If you like espresso drinks, go elsewhere. If you like breakfast sandwiches, go elsewhere. If you like pies and pastries and... drip brew coffee, maybe it?s worth trying? I went here 3 or 4 times hoping my initial bad experiences were a fluke but they werenot. The employees I interacted with weren?t familiar with the menu, didn?t know how to make the drinks on the menu, and didn?tcharge the stated menu prices. In 2020 I was charged $7.25 for a soy mocha and it didn?t even taste good. Read more

The first thing I noticed were the numerous fruit flies at the front counter. I ordered the 4 egg omelette & some sort of tea.... My wife had French toast and an iced coffee. Food was nothing to brag about. One of the tables had plates left on it that hadn'tbeen cleared. Fruit flies were flying around the table as we ate. The tea was supposedly fresh brewed but not much taste. Mywife said the iced coffee was good. Would not recommend and will not return. Read more

Super cute cafe inside of what seemed to be a former house. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were... really good. I got a regular iced coffee and the boyfriend got one of the specialty drinks called the bananas foster which wasreally good! I had the 3 eggs breakfast which were done perfectly and my boyfriend had the omelet that he said was cookedperfectly as well. We didn't get to try any of the bakery items because we were trying to be good but they looked amazing, especially some of the tarts! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Mainstrasse area! Walked all the way from my hotel to this bakery bc it was the closest one that was open. Not sure why all the others within a... few miles were closed on a Sunday but I?m sure any of them would have been better than this. Despite having smoothies on themenu behind her, the girl at the register told me they didn?t have smoothies at this location and asked me if I?d like anythingelse. All that was in the display case were pecan pies and this one cinnamon roll, so I took that. Hands down the worst cinnamonroll I?ve ever had and the first time in my 29 years on earth that I?ve ever thrown one away. I would never come here againbased on this experience. Read more

I have to give this place a ?middle of the road?rating. The atmosphere is quite adorable but for what you get, the food was... overpriced. The tea and coffee came in a large mug which was nice but if we were getting it to go, I can?t say the sizingwould?ve been comparable. The breakfast food was pretty bland as well. I would relate it to a neighborhood diner quality.Nothing special. We got a black coffee, a green tea, and two breakfast options. We paid $28. I had to get up and ask forutensils and napkins. If you are looking for an outstanding bakery and breakfast place, this isn?t it. A cute atmosphere tho! Read more
