The hostess & service staff were fantastic, and the steaks were cooked perfectly, and everyone made our 5 yr old feel... welcome! Only question is... why the mashed potatoes tasted like instant? But, yes! Overall, Great Experience! Read more

Firstly I would like to say I never make reviews, especially to take the time and write a negative review about a restaurant, I... myself work in the food industry and I have never been disappointed with the quality and lack of hospitality while dining at arestaurant. Tonight was a special occasion for me. It was the first I introduced my boyfriend to my family, and I wanted thenight to go as smooth as possible but as soon as we walked in the greeting was very dry. Our server, (who I would never saytheir name out of respect) was very dry, didn't present themselves as professional, and as a high end restaurant I would thinkthat would be an important priority. They never offered any drink specials or if we wanted to do any appetizers, I guess theyassumed because the rest of our party (there was 6 of us total) was not fully there we didn't want to begin with anystarters. When the rest of our group arrived we did not see or hear from our server for about 10 min, and when they finallyshowed up still didn't offer any drinks or appetizers. When we asked for them to explain the menu and about the different steaksour server wasn't knowledgeable about the items on the menu which was a turn off since the menu isn't as detailed as it shouldbe, such as the sides that it comes with.....which leads be to the next issue we had. For example the flounder we ordered camewith a side of mashed potatoes, but it does not say that anywhere on the menu. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes unknowingthat the flounder came with mashed potatoes. So In the end we didn't need an extra side of the mashed potatoes. When our foodcame out, 2 strips were under cooked that we had to take back, so my two aunts had to wait and by the time the steaks were outwe all were basically done with our food. Our server didn't even take the time to see if the under cooked steaks were okay. Notto mention our server put our to go bags ON THE FLOOR!!! Overall sadly disappointed :( Read more

Amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere! I made reservations to check out this unique Dutch-inspired steakhouse.... Parking was a challenge! Be sure to arrive early. We started out with some of their excellent specialty drinks and appetizers:old fashioneds, Kentucky sunrise, and Bitterballen (upscale hush puppies). My wife and I ordered a Van Gogh filet; they wereperfection. The Hudspot (carrot, onion, potato mash with gravy) was so flavorful as was the Indo-Dutch pulled pork with pickledveggies. I took my wife to the third floor to enjoy the view and our creme brûlée. We will be back. Read more
