You can never beat the quality, taste and price at Cracker Barrel so we knew while traveling, it would be safe to stop here and... eat. I go to this location often. It?s not the best Cracker Barrel in the world however it is in the top five that I have been to.... The food is consistent with most other locations the waitresses are nice polite and helpful and the location always feels clean.I have been to this location several times and plan on continuing to go. The only thing that I am extremely disappointed at isthe change in the menu. You go in you don?t even need to look at the menu and you tell them I would like this for them to tellyou oh I?m sorry what you have been getting for years is no longer available the menu has changed. We ordered breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was horrible. It was not homemade; it tasted like it was made... from a packet from the shelf of the store. My grits were cold and unsalted. My brother ordered the grandma sampler and hispancakes were lukewarm and the butter was too hard and cold to melt; the syrup was not hot,either. $30 is too much to pay forsubpar meals. Great wait staff (Tammy). Delicious food. BUT ... I depend on the calorie and ingredient info. Someone doctored the cornbread... with sugar and something else that made it taste extremely sweet. I count on the flavor I'm used to having and the sugar is ano-go for me. So I don't think I got what I paid for in the cornbread, or what I'm allowed to eat. I ate half a muffin and leftthe rest. We were going back here to try and give the restaurant another chance. Last time we were there, we were promptly ignored and the... portions we received were mere sniffs of food. We tried the restaurant again. After a decent wait (understandable) we wereseated where we were once again promptly ignored for 15 whole minutes. A waitress, out of the goodness of her heart, found ourtable and asked if we were being helped. We told her no then she started to help us. Unfortunately I ordered the spicy grilledcatfish and ended up with a fried catfish. The catfish was ok but not what I was going for. Called ahead for seating availability and was told there was no wait and walked in within 5 minutes and was immediately seated... and no one else came to table for 15 minutes to wait on my party. My family observed couple seated after we were and they wereserviced almost immediately. This is very poor service for Cracker Barrel as we tend to visit different locations whentraveling due to consistency of meals at each location are good.
