Interesting place to eat. Good news is that there is a ramp for handicap / limited mobility people that runs along the side of... building. Front steps can be a challenge, as well as parking is limited on street parking. The five of us had various dishesat lunch. Everyone was satisfied with their food, but nobody raved about their dishes. Not a chain restaurant so that is aplus in our books. Half shrimp Po boy and gumbo, half shrimp remoulade and bisque, stuffed eggplant, fish with pecans. Read more

We decided to dine in at New Orleans Food and Spirits for a birthday dinner, and the experience was awesome. The waitress was... very attentive and was fast with fulfilling requests from the table. The food was warm upon arrival, and she ensured we hadwater or other beverages in the glasses before we were done drinking. In addition, the food was seasoned well and very tasteful. We were greeted by the staff upon entry, and the waitress was very nice throughout the dining experience. I would recommendthis restaurant if you?re in the area want to grab a good meal. Read more

Wife and I dropped in for lunch because it was across the street from an antique store where we were shopping. Had no... expectations but we were very impressed. Got a half Oyster PoBoy and a cup of Gumbo and it was the best fried oysters I've hadin several years! They were large and perfect! The Gumbo was full of Gulf Shrimp and very tasty! The 1/2 order of Onion Ringswas large and the recipe is incredible also, so I assume that the other menu items are as tasty. Service and atmosphere is greatas well. We will be returning to this place! Read more

In town for a very short time. We looked for a restaurant that would not be far from the hotel. Boy did we pick a fantastic... place to eat!! From the Voodo Crawfish rolls, to the Chargrilled oysters, we're the BEST ever. The main dish of Shrimp withcream sauce (was loaded with shrimp), and the fried seafood platter were very tasty!! I highly recommend this to anyone thatlikes Cajun food. If ever in the area again, this restaurant will be the first place we go!! Read more

Y'all. If you're in the area and get the chance, do not hesitate to eat here. It's the best of the best. I took pics of... everything. It was all amazing. The staff is also stellar. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean and comfortable. I love all thewindows looking out to all the greenery outside. Best gumbo anywhere. By far. Everything was perfectly cooked and perfectlyseasoned. Fresh, bright veggies. Crispy sweet fries. The sliced french bread... So soft and airy and delicious. I could listeverything, but just trust that it's all done exactly as it should be. Even the iced tea was fresh brewed and refreshing. Theportions are generous. We'll be good for another couple meals, lol! We ordered more than most would, so naturally we spent more. The pricing is definitely fair for all you're getting. First chance I get, I'll be coming back again and again. Pictures:Spinach & artichoke dip, sliced bread drizzled with oil, Chargrilled oysters, sweet potato fries, Seafood gumbo, Spinach salad,Caesar salad with fried shrimp. The last pic is too show the generous portions. Read more
