It was around seven when I decided to venture into this Wendy's. The drive-thru line was exceedingly long and unmoving, which... really should have set off warning bells in my head, but I was craving chicken nuggets and let my stomach guide me. There were afew people eating outside but no one inside, and when I walked up to the counter to order, I waited. And waited. Everyone seemedfocused on the drive-thru and I tried in vain to catch somebody's eye, trying to look my best like a lost puppy searching forscraps. Five minutes into the wait and someone finally walked up! I was excited as he started keying something into the computerand I gave my best feeble 'Hi!', but then he promptly said 'I'm going on break. Sorry.' And then I watched for several longterrible moments as his work friend walked up to him and they starting joking around with each other. Busy time frame and they seemed short staffed, which I can understand but the front cashier (probably a manager) was rude. I... didn't get a receipt nor did I get an accurate number of drinks. We are outside and we're promptly locked out so we couldn't usethe restroom nor get drink refills, condiments, or napkins. Read more
