Ouch, really let down this time visiting. The prior times the food was great, service was fast and affordable. This time, showed... up not many people at all ordered quickly, then sat for over 30 minutes before anyone came around again. A big order came in andseemed like our order got pushed behind it. You never know when you stop at a different restaurant in a town you don't know what you are going to get. In this case The... Sizzling Pickle was good food, great service and a fun atmosphere. Lunch was a total success; the Chilli cheese dog, thehamburger special and the fries were all excellent. Read more
- Seat yourself restaurant, and they were fairly quick to get to us. -Friendly staff. -Server was Not sure on beer selection so... she got someone else. -Local beer served here. -Clean restaurant. -Clean bathrooms. -Good color scheme throughout the restaurantand bathrooms as it fits their theme, making it fun to be around. -A little slow receiving our food than other restaurants, butit was not a LONG wait. -Good amount of cheese on my burger. -Asked for burger medium-well, and it was definitely well done; after menu states "Ask if you want want burger cooked other than well done. " - All the other food was tasty. -4% conveniencefee for credit card transactions. Not sure if other restaurants have this fee and just include it in the food, but it shows as aseperate charge on your ticket. -Slow on coming to grab the ticket, but did say "no rush". Read more
The service was excellent! Friendly, patient, and helpful staff members. Then there?s the food! After a long day of hunting,... nothing hits the spot like a thick, juicy burger! I got the ?POPPIN burger? (asked for a double patty), sriracha fries withhoney mustard sauce, and a chocolate milkshake. Our food was good and the service was great! We had burgers, sliders, and tenders. Their pulled pork is a little different than... we?re used to, it?s sliced rather than pulled or shredded, but it was tender and had good flavor. Have eaten there multiple times when the time of order to serve exceeded one hour. I have had to pay for my drink and leave... without a meal because I only have one hour for lunch break. The wait staff is very attentive and that end of experience isgreat. It's just too bad they can't get food out in a timely manner. Read more
