We just moved to the area, so we are trying to eat at different places and decided to try this joint - I mean, 4.5 stars, right?... We’ve never had more oily Chinese food. We had the sweet and sour chicken for me, shrimp lo mein for my wife, and an order ofcrab rangoon. We always finish our Chinese food. We didn’t this time. More than one hair in the food. Several pieces ofchicken had a large chunk of cartilage. The sauce for the chicken had a strange “tang” to it. Also didn’t care for brownrice, which isn’t appetizing on its own but especially not appetizing with the sweet and sour chicken. Crab rangoon were goodexcept for the oil. We could pour it out of each piece if we tore it apart. And the same with the lo mein. Had a decent flavor,but lots of oil. And seemed a bit too salty. Unfortunately, we live less than 5 minutes away but will not be returning. Theambiance seemed nice (we had take out) and the staff was friendly. They have a window facing storefront so you can walk up andget your food without going inside. We did like that. Read more
Surprisingly delicious!! Never judge the book by the cover, they say…well the same applies here! Today I did not want to make... dinner and I had saved Asian Garden in my “want to go” list! I am glad I did. I drove to the place and I recognized the areabecause I have been to the Food Lion nearby but when I found the place I was not sure if I got it right. You go to a window, youorder, pay, take and go. So fast. Let’s break down and justify my 5 stars: customer service: the person at the window wasfriendly and attentive, I like that, always. Food: I ordered the Spicy Cabbage Chicken with fried rice and O-M-G. You would notexpect something soooo good judging by the place. I could taste every single spice, the veggies were crunchy and cooked toperfection, the chicken blended with the veggies and the delicious sauce was just on point. The fried rice was good even thoughit was not my usual fried rice with pork and scrambled eggs and some tiny shrimps but I liked anyways. I also liked the servingportions . They served the food separate and I like that too. The only thing I missed for my dog: her fortune cookie! But I amcoming back for sure! I recommend this place. I did one fried rice that was pretty good, recommended, but the 3 stars are for the vegan option which is acceptable but could... be much better. It seems like they threw tofu with some vegetables and that was it, no love on it. Food on picture is summernoodles. Read more
Mostly a take out place, with half dozen tables. Very fast service. Awesome staff. Delicious and unique menu. Highly recommend!
They have a weekly "special" meal and post it ahead of time. I mostly get that and/or their eggrolls. The food is tasty, there... is plenty of it (you can choose your type of rice). I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they are closed on weekends (might havebeen during COVID) when is our family's time to eat out together. I hope that changes soon. Read more
