Ate here for the first time this week. It was good. Had the medium level of spicy chicken. Had some kick but not too... much. The cashier was really friendly and helpful! Food was absolutely amazing. I wish I could open one of these in my city. I?m from... Erie but stopped here on my way home and I will be back just for this spot! Update: A year later I finally make it back and manwhat a disappointment this visit was. Didn?t feel very welcomed this time not to mention the cashier eating an entire meal right behind the counter in plain view. Add that in with the cook who was picking his teeth. Granted he washed his hands after butregardless, not something you do in front of customers? ever. My fries were old and chicken was barely warm. The vibe inside is super great? good music and cool indoor/outdoor seating next to giant windows. The cashier was very friendly... and helpful? she even offered to give my fiancé one medium spiced chicken tender and two mild since he couldn?t decide betweenthe two heat levels. The food came out hot and pretty quickly, and she brought it right to our table. The sandwich was tasty,the chicken tenders were crispy but still moist, they were very generous with the fries, and the mac and cheese was delicious!The spice levels are exactly as you?d expect, which is nice that they have so many predictable options. It?s not quite ?HattieB?s? level, but definitely a good option for around the Pittsburgh area! We?ll definitely be back! Read more
Gets pretty busy during lunch rush, but the food hasn't disappointed. I typically get the Mac Daddy w/ Level 3 (medium)... spiciness because it's not awfully hot, but just spicy enough to taste real nice. I definitely recommend getting the Bananapudding with it! Read more
I got my usual nugs meal, which was tasty as usual. Then my boyfriend offered me part of his meal, chicken and waffles (I wasn't... paying attention when he ordered, so I didn't know he got whatever flavor of hell they consider hot for his chicken) and oh mystars, is that spicy chicken S P I C Y!!! Like my back got hot after the second bite and I had to go to the store (I was onlunch at work) to grab some milk. So at least they live up to their flavor levels, I'll definitely be sticking to the milderones, that's for sure! ???? Read more
Pretty good! Got the chicken sandwich in medium which comes w slaw and pickles on top on a brioche bun. Got fries and Mac on the... side. The dust on top and the crinkle cut fries are similar to crab fries if you?ve ever had/ liked those you?ll love thisplace. Medium was like a 2/5 will def be getting a ?hot? next time. First time trying this restaurant and overall I was somewhat disappointed. I make crispy chicken at home and have several... locations where I love their hot chicken so not just any chicken will do. Did I eat it, yes, have I had much better, yes, but itwas nice to get something out and about that was different from the fast food joints or other quick to grab items like burgersor Mexican. I will admit that my photo is terrible as I was eating and forgot to take a photo. I do think the price for theamount of food was reasonable. Went to this place back in Sept. My wife and I were driving back from vacation and wanted something to eat. We werent familiar... with the area so I checked for restaurant?s off the freeway. Chikn came up. My wife thought it was a gimmick place but wechecked the reviews and decided to stop. First, the staff was AWESOME. Cant remember the young ladies name who helped us but shewas a manager or owner. My wife ordered and went to the restroom. I then ordered but OH NO my wife has my wallet! She patientlytook the next order and the guy anonymously pays for our meal! Great town, great guy, great chicken. This place was GREAT! Weloved the crispy, spicy sandwiches so much my wife - WHO NEVER DOES THIS - went back inside to tell the young lady how deliciouseverything was. Two thumbs up! Read more
