We came to this restaurant during a professional conference. Great location, close to larger hotels. The food was much better... than many of the restaurants in the city of Pittsburgh, and reasonably priced. The cocktails are interesting, different thanwhat you may see in other places. I wish I could bottle the key lime butter sauce that was served with the shrimp! And dessert??The caramel students over the brownie made my evening (and later, a late evening snack). Couldn’t have had a better experience. Great lodge like feel, very good ambiance and amazing bar set up. Our server Katie was... so good we had to call the manager to let him know how amazing she was. The sirloin and port mushrooms were cooked perfect andfull of flavor. The kickin chicken sandwich was excellent, but the only thing kickin about it were the candied jalapeños. So ifyou’re expecting hot, this ain’t it, it’s it’s so big and good you don’t care. Very nice outdoor patio by the water fountain, great indoor ambiance and delicious food with plenty of parking. The service was... outstanding and my lemonade was so fresh! The deviled eggs are a must try. Go here for celebrations, client meetings, or a nicenight out. Read more

Firebirds Wood Fire Grill was chosen for its reputation of quality food, service, convenient location, off Route 228, and its... outdoor dining which currently was not available. The choice of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, dinner entrees, dessertsand drinks are plentiful, something for everyone whether vegan or otherwise. Our waitress, Mandy, and the other staff thatinteracted with us were professional, exceptional, accommodating, thoughtful, courteous, helpful, attentive, respectful,gracious, kind, and caring. The food was great, well prepared and presented. Our sincere thanks and gratitude to theprofessional staff at Firebirds Wood Fire Grill. Our party is looking forward to returning in the near future. The reservations were for 10:15. Finally got our meal at 12:15. Asked for medium well towards the well side and no one cared to... fix it. Ate a mostly raw steak after waiting over an hour for them to cook it and 2 hours to eat. Good luck finding your waiteras well, it’s about as easy as finding a unicorn. The management staff was never present and wouldn’t acknowledge tables.Hard to improve service ever if you aren’t fielding it. No wonder it’s so hard to get a reservation severe mis management oftime and resources which tracks. Read more
