Houlihan's has certainly upped their game with their menu of home cooked meals. I had their pot roast over Yukon gold potatoes... with garlic green beans and it was excellent, the other two people I was with had equally excellent meals. The server was spoton with recommendations and did a fantastic job. I look forward to our next meet up in Cranberry. Read more
We love Houlihan's. Wednesday night was different. We were seated immediately and introduced to our server, which brought her... complaints to the table about having to stay a little longer for our table when she was ready to leave. That was unsettling, butwe tried to let her know we'd be quick and decisive. After she served our water, she disappeared. I had to get up twice andsearch for a hostess or another server to get more drinks. When the food finally came, she disappeared again and I have tosearch for butter for our meal. My wife's food was great. My Kansas City Steak was well done... my request was medium. Afterall the trouble we'd had, I chose to just push through and finish my meal. I was quite disappointed that our experience wascloser to a fast food restaurant, then a high end steak destination. Read more
We chose this restaurant for our 15th wedding anniversary. We drove an hour from home, and planned to use our Landry's Select... Club card. User beware - despite this restaurant being listed on the website for the Select Club, they absolutely cannot takethe card. Don't plan on using it or gaining any points. This was a huge disappointment. The only reason this review is a 4 starand not a 3 star is because the food was very tasty (as was the drink), our server was engaging and fun, and the restaurantmanager tried to make it right ($15 off, but we had more on the Select Card). It's not the local restaurant's fault, butLandry's. I emailed their corporate office about this, but others who may be thinking of more casual places to use the Landry'sSelect card should count this out. Read more
No longer a place that I will frequent. I went in for a 1pm lunch and it was so dark I could not see the menu. The lights were... crazy dim and they seem to be going for a club vibe. Lol Also the food wasn't so great. Bummer they use to offer a healthiermenu and more gluten free options. They seem to be going the direction of bar food. Update: It has been 3 years since our lastvisit and the food was much better. It’s still very dark and the service was slow and we were the only ones in the dinningarea at the time. What a great place! Great meal, friendly and fast service, delicious drinks for fantastic prices. I ordered the Brentwood... Chicken Sandwich and it was juicy and delicious. The house made ranch dressing I had with my fries made my date, who proclaimsto dislike all ranch dressing, come back for seconds. My Pineapple Moscow mule was well balanced; tangy, sweet, and spicy,absolutely amazing. And all the drinks are so cheap! They have amazing Happy Hour prices, too! I loved the decor of thisplace. It was so warm and inviting and beautifully maintained. I don't know when it opened, but everything still looks brandnew. The dining area is far enough from the bar that it seems like they're two different restaurants. We were having a datenight and were not bothered by the TVs or bar patrons at all. Our server was Katie, and she was wonderful. She was attentiveand friendly without being over bearing or invasive. We had a lovely conversation about saving money on hotels! All in all, itwas good food for reasonable prices in a friendly and warm atmosphere with great service. Great for a date night or drinks withfriends or just cause you don't feel like cooking tonight.
