Upscale. BYOB restaurant in a cozy little intimate setting. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly (we chatted... with them for a good 15 min on a very slow night). The food is amazing and all ingredients are sourced locally; they list thelocations on the wall. I ordered the duck with a side of roasted wild mushrooms. Can not believe we have been reduced to writing an online review something we have never had to do ever but as I sit in the... hospital watching my poor wife suffer due to an horrific allergic reaction after dining at this restaurant. We specially toldour waitress we believe her name is Diana but we are having trouble remembering,indeed she was informed that my wife is highlyallergic to all seafood and failed to remove the trout roe from our appetizer, I ordered it for us to share and although shegave us two spoons she didn’t let us know the fish was in the dish. We believe it was amazingly careless of her seeing asthough she seemed to be very nice and attentive but how could such a serious situation not be taken seriously in a fine diningatmosphere! We personally could not decipher the taste of the fish due to the other flavors of the dish being more prominent, mywife saw salt reviews but decided it couldn’t be that bad and it was a bit much but mostly just disguised all other taste. Wehave never had this happen in our many many years dining at various restaurants around the world and we were particularlyexcited due to this being our first night out in our new home state, What a welcome. We really didn’t notice until sadly wegot home and she passed out in my arms not being able to breathe, imagine my terror. I got her here in time but my anger is atan all time high because it was not easy to do and she is still in pain. I pray you train your staff to handle allergies morecautiously and with care, write it down or just check with the chef about it. Delightful brunch. Space is cozy and bright, staff is friendly. Enjoyed the salmon rillettes and the vichyssoise. Root veggie... hash and the biscuits were a little aggressively salted but the egg was cooked perfectly. BYOB keeps prices very reasonable.Will definitely eat there again - in fact, looking forward to trying the Sunday supper (last Sunday of each month at 6:30pm). Read more
