Amazing service by Dave and Yurley. Great attention to detail by the manager Denise. Food was exceptional and of course the... bread starters with the roasted garlic bulb was phenom. Very nice laid back atmosphere they were kind enough to let us sit thereeven after the restaurant closed, without pushing us out and for any establishment to provide that kind of customer service theydeserve above five stars. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The menu was pared down, but what was on it was delicious. The staff was very friendly... and accommodating and there is a parking lot in the back. There is also a train station nearby if you want to go that route. Thedress is casual with a good atmosphere and they serve liquor. Their sangria was tasty. If you come in from the back, I believeit was only one step so wheel chair access is doable. Read more
Great food, even better service. Owner came over to our table a couple of times to chat with us, which was nice. The escargot... was different (not in the typical buttery sauce), but very good! Had the chicken rapini and finished every last bite. My wifehad the gnocchi and sausage and also loved it. 10/10 would recommend. Read more
The artichoke hearts, lamb and shrimp scampi were phenomenal but even more memorable was the most thoughtful waitress that... we’ve ever had. Awesome restaurant. Makes you proud to love garlic. Read more
A unique experience indeed. This was the first time for us at this unique restaurant and we went with no expectations but were... we flabbergasted, totally... we ordered the Artichokes string beans and the pork chop along with a Sangaria pitcher and theirblood orange Margherita (prolly October themed special) The table got a basket of dinner rolls with a baked full garlic bulbwith a green sauce (you'll see it in the pics)... loved it, absolutely crazy on flavor, overwhelming yet we both loved gettingour pallettes downed The artichokes were amazing too and the pork chop was out of the world (it comes with their scallopedpotatoes (again exceptional) Now to the drinks... the Margherita wasn't the best you'll have elsewhere but nothing intolerantbut the Sangria was good and tangy We finished our meal with a tiramisu and again liked it despite a very appetite fulfillingmeal. A definite must try for foodies and we are adding Garlic Rose Bistro to our regular goto list of places. Read more
This was my first time at Garlic Rose Bistro but definitely won't be my last!! Food was amazing and service was great. Owners... make you feel welcomed. We drove over a hour to get there and was worth it. Try not to get full from the amazing garlic bread.The appetizers we ordered were scallops and garlic shrimp. For our entrées we had chicken and shrimp carbonara and their famouspork chop which was very flavorful and tender. Everything was great!!! Read more
I started off with a Smoked Slab Bacon(With a maple glaze and bbq sauce) and a salad. My main dish was the francaise with... chicken. The Bacon slab and salad was good but I found my francaise to be bland and watery. The restaurant itself was ok Ifound it to be a bit too dark and the music was a bit loud for my taste. Been eating at Garlic Rose with my wife for the past 3 years. This restaurant is exceptional!! The owners are incredibly caring... and helpful, staff is incredible and the food is delicious! Generous portion sizes and the quality is really out of this world.We moved an hour away but still come here every few months because it's a great experience. Highly recommend!
