We went to a collation and we were in a cold, brown back room with brown tablecloths. The waitress got me a tea as only coffee... was supplied and was very friendly. The food was average. When we left I noticed the restaurant and it does not look like aplace I would recommend as it had old looking decor. Read more
I cannot say enough good things about this place! If there were 10 stars I would give them that and more. The food was... delicious- they make their pasta from scratch in a machine they imported from Italy! Everyone on the staff was friendly andaccommodating. The room was gorgeous, everything was spotless. They were so accommodating and made it so easy to host a postfuneral event, their preselected menus give you plenty of options to host an affordable event with top notch food. The food wasa perfect assortment. Plus tons of parking and it's easy to get to. I just can't say enough good things about this place! Today was the first time we have visited this fine restaurant. Great service by Sabrina, and very fair prices as well. They even... have an amazing 3 course pre-fix dinner until 5 o'clock every day. For $17.99 you get a full-sized entree, soup or salad, anddessert. They also have $5 martinis and house wines until 5:00! We started off with the Antipasto which was amazing and includedfour different types of Italian meats. The homemade chicken escarole soup was almost as good as what my mom and I make. ALL oftheir pastas are homemade as well, something somewhat unusual from my experiences. My mom ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, whichwas extremely thin, not very heavily breaded, and among the best eggplant dishes we have ever had out. The sauce was incredible,slightly sweet and no hint of acidity/bitterness. I had the Veal Parmesan, which was almost as good, and was fork tender (itperhaps could have been pounded a little bit more to add to the tenderness factor, however). My girlfriend had the Sole Francaisand it was without a doubt one of the best fish dishes she had ever tasted. Amazing flavor, and very fresh sole. Everyone thinks the best Italian food in Cranston is located around knights village. They are wrong. It sits on the Johnston... boarder and it is called Cucina Rustica. Excellent dinner and service. Went to see the entertainment but stayed for the food! Half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays... helped too. Pic of Sunday Gravy entrée does not do it justice. Will definitely be back again! Wish I could remember ourserver's name to give him proper credit! Read more

Have taken my parents to this place a couple times. Food is always amazing, especially their pizza and pastas. The chef is... always changing up the menu with some very creative dishes. Wine selection was great and so are the martinis! Staff was veryfriendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place! Read more
