This place is legit. The combo plater just blew me away. Both meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection without too much... saltiness. The added hot sauces were definitely a plus. The red being a nice spicy addition. Don't skip on this establishment.Also, try/eat what they do best(meaning, don't order a burger and fries). You won't be disappointed. I got the chicken with the salad, combo platter, combo wrap, nuggets and cheese sticks. Food was ready very quickly and... everything was fresh. The white and red sauce are good. The meat is tender and flavorful. My family enjoyed the food and I willbe back again. Read more
I don?t understand some of the negative reviews. You can get a plate, or a chopped cheese in under 10minutes no matter the day... or time you call! And the meat is halal obviously & very fresh. Sanitation is a priority at this location and it shows. This NazHalal location is definitely a top competitor in terms of fast service and great tasting food. I grew up in NYC and had my fair share of Halal food. This place is the only place you can get genuine street Halal food similar... to the ones in Brooklyn, NY. My go to is the lamb over rice, with fries on top, with extra white sauce, BBQ sauce, and a littlehot sauce. The fries are crispy and the food is always great. Alhamdulilliah that they opened up shop here in Rhode Island. Read more
Good chicken, could be more seasoned and moist. I'd prefer a larger cut of chicken. Lamb had too many fillers. Rice was good.... They didn't give white sauce. Just ok. Read more
This is definitely no Halal Guys. The food was super spicy, I asked the cashier regrading the spice and she said it was mild... paprika. It was too spicy to eat. The mozzarella sticks were edible, served with ?cold? marinera. Not worth the visit. Read more
Came in with family and got three combo rice-chicken-lamb platters. Happy to say that the food was great (I personally preferred... the chicken) and the portions large. And the prices are very competitive. We even asked for the sauce on the side and the staffwas happy to accommodate us. The clean restroom to wash your hands was also great. It WAS fairly hot inside, mostly because itwas a 100° day and the nature of the open kitchen. Not an issue if take out, but with the spicy food it's something to takeinto consideration. The food is served/packaged in tin/aluminum containers which is a huge plus. Will look forward to comingagain! Read more
Not sure how there are any negative reviews here, nor why people feel it necessary to come here and leave reviews about Halal... guys- which is a completely different establishment. BUT this place is great! Fast & friendly staff and food is great. It isexciting to have a Halal fix in RI. If you like Halal guys so much- make the hour drive to Boston to get it, simple.
