While away for work I came across this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. When arrived I parked in the back. I walked in... and was greeted. I sat at the bar and Joseph was my bartender and he was great. I was able to catch happy hour and ordered thepinot nior. On check in they had a free house wine so endulged in that also. I ordered my food from the happy hour menu. Iordered the spring rolls, blackened barramundi tacos, and a crab cake with broccoli. The spring rolls came out first and Ididn't particularly care for them. It was very bready so they took that off for me. I enjoyed the tacos, crab cake and broccolivery much. DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER go to this restaurant right away you will not regret it ! First and foremost friendly customer service... Gabby best ever I had the pleasure of having the most awesome and helpful staff whom helped me from cocktail drink and startersand entree which was beyond amazing! Delicious entrees, absolutely amazing appetizers, amazing beyond amazing dinner I have had! Will definitely come once again when I am in Poconos. I had the filet mignon which was well flavored but overcooked about one stage. This was acceptable if not ideal for my taste. My... wife had the Delmonico steak which was also overcooked. They were very gracious and replaced it, but it was overcooked as well,which they again replaced. The third try was again overcooked but by then she was to hungry to care. They comped the steak andwere very nice. Everything was tasty, I just wish that they could have got it cooked correctly. The bread pudding wasdelicious! Read more
Haven't even eaten yet, I doubt there will be a reason to edit this review. The establishment exudes friendliness and a real... desire to please both the pallet and the experience. Roxy, the host was warm on the phone, and didn't disappoint in person.Professional from front door to back of the house. Lexi helped us through the menu and bar options like a pro. This place is very nice inside and so rustic in a way but luxurious at the same time. Our server started us with some water and... some kind of pancakes with a Dijon sauce (forgot the names), a nice little appetizer to start off the night. I started with theceaser salad and rate it a 9/10. The ceaser dressing was rich in flavor and very tasty, the grated parmesdan went perfectly wellwith the dressing and complemented everything along with the croutons. Overall delicious and highly recommend as a starter. Nextfor the main course I went with the chophouse burger and rate it an 8/10. The usual lettuce tomatoes and onion went well withthe burger, I added bacon and was kind of surprised it was bacon bits rather than a whole slice as usual but it was goodnonetheless. The burger itself I ordered medium rare and it wasn't dry but wasn't juicy at the same time, which is something Iwas kind of expecting since it is what I am used to. Burger was great with good flavors although it did lack juicyness. Theservice was a solid 10/10, our waiter w.as all smiles and made sure we were enjoying our time and even offered my brother aslice of s'mores pie on the house which was to die for since I stole a spoonful. Overall food was great, staff was awesome aswell as the atmosphere and I do appreciate the little candles it really does make a difference for a nice meal. I am positive wewill be returning soon! The restaurant is quite nice lighting nice songs the waiter she is very helpful and friendly. The food came to our table after... an hour, and fifteen minutes of ordering the steak was okay, but not for this price, the vegetables were burned the fries wasokay the drinks has a lot of ice for the price.. over all was okay. Date night recommended! Highly suggest making a reservation. Pricy for the area but worth it. The food was decadent and... flavorful. The Frogtown fries were amazing! We couldn?t stop eating them. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Without a doubt ahidden gem in the Poconos. Read more
Great quality of meat. Service was also fairly attentive and informative. Atmosphere was a little too loud for me and some... guests were really too loud to be polite and the restaurant staff really couldn't do anything about them. The lighting was alsoa little too dim for my liking but that makes it great for a date night. Read more
