Reviews for Mountain Cravings in Crestline, CA
The fish and chip is delicious. 4 big pieces of fish fillets and french fries.
Had the fish and chips which in hindsight is a large enough serving for 2 for lunch. Very nicely and lightly breaded. I also... recommend the jalapeño poppers. They are also large. Super nice staff. Everything is cooked to order Read more
We stopped by while shopping. The Mangoniada is delicious and refreshing! The crazy fries were yummy too.
Kinda inconsistent. I get the fish and chips sometimes its really good and sometimes it isn't. The fries came out stale the... last time I ordered and the malt vinegar was not even malt vinegar. It tasted like something strange (oil/chemical). I gotsick because I dipped it and took the bite without smelling it. I was disappointed. Read more
Had the Fish and chips and fish was "okay" but nothing special. Fries were stale. Also had the nachos. They were dreadfully... disappointing. Chips were stale and for some reason they also had fries and they were also stale. Meat was so over cooked I'mcertain they just reheated some meat that was already needing to be tossed out. This was my first time there. It was last timethere. So very sad that I can not support this local business. Read more
Great little place the girls working are great too! I came here because of the awesome reviews about their fish and chips. ... They did not disappoint! The hotdogs look good too although I didn?t try them. Cozy and quaint, just what you?d expect from asmall mountain community place. They have smoothies and ice cream too! If you?re new to the area (like me) or just up from thecity for some fresh air, give ?em a try you will be glad you did! Read more
Fish and chips were great, the chili cheese dog wasn?t as good but it was not bad at all :) overall happy
Kinda pricey for their juices, but they have some good food you won't see at many other places around here. My husband and I... tried their "L.A. dog" (bacon- wrapped hot dog with jalapeño, salsa, mustard&ketchup) and it was AH-MAZING. They also happenedto have tamales on sale at the time ($3/ea.), so we got their red pork and their jalapeño&cheese tamales and they were verytasty! This place is such a small hole-in-the-wall place it's easy to miss, but I would DEFINITELY recommend checking them out!We will be coming back for more of their food, juices, or ice cream soon!
