The food was good. Two of the empty tables we went to were not wiped and gum under the seats. The men's washroom was a sham... however with a diseased looking bottle of industrial soap on the counter, no paper towels in the dispenser and an overflowinggarbage can. We are used to our food being brought out to us if it is not immediately ready. Not here, they yell out your tablenumber from the counter. Look out A&W because McDonalds opens this fall and if you even hope to compete, you will have to upyour game! Read more
Husband got the Uncle Bacon Cheddar burger. Was good. I got the chicken chipotle wrap. Pretty pathetic. Basically a tortilla... with one chicken finger, a small piece of cheese and a miniscule piece of limp lettuce. I think I got charged about $5 forthat. Have had many good A&W experiences, but this one will make us think twice before going back. Read more
Went here at 940 and they looked like they were ready to close all the lights were off so i started to drive away. Then someones... voice came on the monitor so i ordered. Refused cash. The burgers were cold enough that the cheese was still in a slice and theteen burger had bbq sauce on it. If this is how your going to send out food because you close in 20 minutes maybe close earliernext time. I get its fast food and its not perfect Never had cold burgers from a and w in my life. Well based on some of the other food complaints here see that this Creston A&W has food issues. First visit to this place and... ordered an Egger & Cheese combo meal on english muffin for hubby. Have been to exceptional A&W?s where these are made perfect.This egger was horrible. The english muffin was not toasted and the bun was old/hard. When hubby opened it looked like it hadbeen sitting around for a while and needed to be chucked, despite this was morning breakfast. The coffee was good. The staff arevery cold and overall would be hard pressed to go back here. Also found the prices much higher than other A&W?s in BC as wasnoted in other reviews. Definitely not your typical A&W experience. Disappointing overall. And by the multiple negative reviewson here appears the mgmt isn?t concerned. Update: So tried to give them a second chance and went in for coffees and orderedanother egg sandwich. Explained to the gal my last experience and asked for a fresh sandwich. She says they will but then a fewseconds later hands me the sandwich which wouldn?t imply fresh made. Get it home and sure enough the bun is so hard itsdifficult to chew. I give up on this place. Its too bad as there are few places to eat in the town and A&W is usually a nice goto, but not here. An egg sandwich ain?t complex and I can do way better at home. Read more
Had a teen burger. About a quarter way though I seen a hair sticking out by the onions. We drove back to take it back wanting my... money back but she said she would replace it. No way I could eat another one. She did not apologized. Couldn't care less. Notvery happy with this experience. Read more
The Poppa Burger was good, however I had to Assemble it into a Burger pattern! When I opened the Bag, and then the Sleeve, the... Burger parts were sitting scattered around the food envelope, I ordered a extra piece of cheese and it was stuck to theenvelope, and the patties looked like they were tossed into the general area! The Burger was produced quickly, and Iappreciated that, but the Burger should have been assembled, and ready to eat! The Burger, and a small Root beer cost just shyof $15, and it had to be sorted, and assembled by me! By the time I got it to the point I could eat it, it was mostly cold! SoI'm not impressed!
