The atmosphere and unique layout of the venue make for an unforgettable experience and a feeling of at-homeness right away... Creston Hotel was well decorated and had a time-matched historic feel. Jimmy's Pub and Grill was bumping this fine Saturday at10:15pm, and the Creston Calley Cannabis store is right in house at the rear of the building for all your smokingpleasures. The 8" Cheese pizza was a little on the doughy side with heavy cheese...I would say it's 8" with the same doughweight topping measurements stretched to a 10" would create thee perfect improvement to an already 5.9 out of 8 on my ratescale. The price is right. It's at the centre of town. It's near grocery and convenience stores.The rooms are small but well arranged.... As my picture shows.. They have all the bases covered ;) Being an older hotel, I foresaw a bit of a musty smell. Unfortunately,my room (226) was very musty. I had to drop a star. Read more
I'm not sure why this is rated a 2-star hotel, it should probably be a 3 star - perhaps it's because there's no elevator. Rooms... were quite large and well decorated, and everything was well cleaned. One of our 3 rooms had a little bit of a smoke smellbecause it was right above the smoking patio of the bar downstairs, but that was the only problem we had. Staff were all quitefriendly too. Terrible service.we were seated without menus. Had to ask for a menu twice. Appitizer for my dinner companion came before mine... and was finished. I had to ask for mine. Wine ws delivered mid meal. Entrees arrived and sever was about to leave. We had to askfor dirty appitizer area to be removed. Food was average. Read more
Right on the main street. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Wifi included. Very quiet in spite of being above a... pub. The night clerk was cheerful and helpful. I would stay here again. Read more
The hotel was ok, nice location, excellent view. The room on the 2nd floor was a bit dated, the window needs some fixing (it was... like the window was opened), it was a bit difficult to use the bathroom sink's faucet. The room was clean, enough towels,toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. We would had preferred to have more than 2 pillows. We gave 4 starts since for us itis very important to have a clean place. Read more
I have stayed at a few different hotels in the Kootenay and Okanagan area in the recent past. I am pleasantly surprised with my... room this evening! The best night auditor, she was quick to arrive after I called to get me checked in after hours and waswonderful to deal with. My room is immaculately clean and was the first thing I noticed, something that I haven't found ONCE YETin any other hotel recently. My room was everything I was hoping to have and then some, comfy, cozy and clean! Read more
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Tiny outdated rooms with mold in the shower. It is on top of a extremely loud bar. If you... want even a bit of quiet at night do not stay here. I travel a lot and this place is horrible. Read more
