Love the atmosphere, love the workers - but - events beware, my best friend had a wedding booked here and ended up splitting... with her partner beforehand. She was never refunded her deposit (according to the contract she had to provide a new booking forthe date, so I do understand that? but there was no grace given by the owners here), third turn ended up rebooking themselveswith a wedding for that day and they still kept my friends deposit money. Our favorite weekend spot! Great place for groups of friends/family, date night or even events. This whimsical spot looks like a... fairy garden/hobbit party when it?s all lit up. The drinks are on a constant rotation, and the food served on property byanother establishment makes it easy to snack through the night, have a full dinner or grab take out for the late night munchies.We?ve had the beer cheese pretzels numerous times, they?re a great pick but you only get two pretzels so keep that in mind! Our absolute FAVORITE place to hangout! The drinks are fabulous, the atmosphere is amazing, and the employees are the best!!! ... You know the theme song from Cheers? I hear that in my head every time we walk in. If you?re in Oldham County looking for afun evening out? 3rd Turn is your place! Live music on Wednesdays (in the summer), fire pits in the fall, board games areavailable, LOTs of outdoor seating! We also helped plan a wedding reception here last summer. This place is a gem. Great atmosphere. Great beer and ciders on tap. The food definitely exceeds expectations as well. It's kid... and pet friendly and the festivals that are hosted there are fantastic experiences. Even under high volume, the staff there havemastered getting people through lines while maintaining excellent service. Definitely reccomend. Read more
Great brewery and restaurant! Really cool back outdoor area with plentiful seating. Drinks and food are both reasonably... priced. Surprisingly enough, it?s a great place for families as well. Cornhole and other lawn games are provided. Weekly foodspecials on weekend nights. Read more
What a wonderful place. They have a huge outside area. They have beer on tap, alcohol slushies, and wine. The building next door... is the winery where you can get flights to test the wines. There is also live music. Check online for dates and band. Dogs areallowed. Read more
Sit outside, but out of the elements, have a drink, and get some food. 5 stars is a no-brainer. Lots of beer options, plus a bar... that does cocktails and these awesome frozen drinks. Man, I was in hog heaven. Go. Go now! Read more
Dec 2022; went for first night of Winter festival and craft show, had a great time. Beautiful craftsmanship in several booths.... Ran into old friends and met some new friends. Great craft showing, all booths were fully booked, had a German food booth, andthe Backside Grill was open. Runs through the 17th, Friday and Saturday. Well worth the visit. Will say that when we left at6:45 the traffic was lined up on the road waiting for available parking. (I did find it to be tacky of one group to actuallybring in outside pizza, very impolite thing to do where food is offered.) Awesome place to meet friends and relax, have fun,make new friends. Always a social and friendly place. Josh is an amazing host and manager. Warmer weather brings a larger crowdto the outside areas with exceptional and various seating for intimate to larger groups.
