This place has all the charm of McDonalds or Denny's. It's not bad, but it doesn't have any better of an atmosphere either. My... chair was missing the bottom piece on one of the legs so it rocked. I called ahead for a 10-top, and it was ready and waitingfor us. Waitress was great, although another waiter came by a few minutes later and tried to retake our order. A littleconfusion there. There was a good kids menu, and the adult menu had soups, salads, salmon, pasta, pizza. Baguette with olive oiland herbs were provided and were enjoyable. The biggest issues I had were prices and sizes. Normally I like to get a largerpizza, do a half/half with my wife and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The pizzas were only one size. Had I done a half/half,there would have been no leftovers. One 12" pizza is $19-20. Had the toppings been generous, it might be worth it. 11/18/22 . Me & my boyfriend went to this location, also this was our first time at CPK. We had the avocado rolls which was... really good . We tried a Margherita pizza and definitely didn't not like it. It tasted like cold cheese with no sauce . So wesent it back and got the garlic cream pasta , which wasn't bad at all. What ruined it for us is our server Tony. Upon arrival ,when Tony greeted us . His eyes were about shut, due to him being high. My boyfriend asked for a peach lemonade, I gotstrawberry. He came to our table with two peaches , and goes " oh I forgot" and comes back with another peach , then I finallyget my correct drink the 3rd time . After that, he did not check on us to refill drinks or nothing at all . ALSO with my pasta iasked for chicken and shrimp , it was only chicken . When he took it back , it took 30 more minutes for my pasta . Also Tony didnot write our order down, he just verbally communicated and walked off. shame on me for trusting him. Then proceeds to go to thetable, next to us , takes their order, and never comes back. So me, my boyfriend, and the table next to us, kept stopping otherservers and the MANAGER for assistance . We was going to order another pizza but after the service , we just wanted to LEAVE !All in all, we will pick a different location next time because this is not how we wanted our first experience to happen . On 11/6 my husband and I ordered CPK for pick up while staying in the hospital after the arrival of our baby. When my husband... got there to pick up the order, the call center didn’t communicate with the store and the store never received our order. Themanager, James, took it upon himself to make sure we got our dinner-quickly at that! He had our food out within 10mins and tookcare of us. We appreciate you, James! Had lunch there today with a friend I hadn’t seen in a couple years. The service & food were both excellent. Our waitress,... Barb, did a terrific job! She checked on us enough to make sure we didn’t need anything but gave us the space & time wewanted to catch up on what’s going on in each others lives. (There was no one waiting for tables or we wouldn’t have stayedso long.). This was my first time eating at a CPK and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to this location to try other items onthe menu. UPDATE: California pizza kitchen did call and offered to redo my order. I picked up the remake and the pizza was wrong (not... cheeseless). I can't fault them as they stated that they couldn't see the entire order on their end from uber eats. The 2nd newpizza without cheese was good. The crust was soft and it hit the spot of what a good bbq pizza should taste like! Hopefully, CPKwill be able to get more details from uber eats so information like pizza size, cheeseless, and drinks with the cpkids meals aretransmitted without a problem. (2 stars) Ordered via uber eats to my hotel. Got a little 12 inch pizza for $23. That's reallysmall for that price. The sizes should be placed on uber eats. I was asumming that it would be a large for that amount of money. The pizza was cold, the crust was hard and dry, and I was missing a drink with my son's meal. This was my first visit to California Pizza, overal, l enjoyed California Pizza. The one I went to was the Creve Coeur... location. This resturant hey has a semi private parking lot. No garage parking but near a lot of other casual dinning and amovie theater. When you walk in someone will seat you. California Pizza has a nice selection of adult beverages, if they don'thave what you want, you can find something delicious to keep you happy and wet. I ordered the the buffalo cauliflower bites andthey were delicious. I tell you if cauliflower comes like those that I had, I don't need to eat nothing else in this world. Ihave found my dream meal, because they were fire to me. In addition to that, I was still wanting a little bit more to eat, eventhough I think that that cauliflower dish feels up the average person if you include a nice drink. But you know I'm a big guyso I went ahead and ordered me a veggie, eggplant, goat cheese cauliflower crusted pizza. I really enjoyed that crunchy sweet,savory, delicious pizza and the service was pretty good. When I went I went around 3 p.m. it so on a Friday late afternoon andit was slow. I don't know how much business they do but I wasn't complaining. I did get a chance to peak into the restroom andthe restrooms are clean. I have no complaint about them but do note there is only one stall, so if they get busy and peoplevisit the restroom it's going to get a line going fast. One stall and one urinal for the men, couldn't check out the ladies,that would have meant jail time. I only saw that they have one TV not really a TV type place, it's more to come in sit downwith some friends family or like I did and another lady did eat your meal alone and enjoy the peace from a hard days work. For a chain it offers a pretty distinctive menu of specialty pizzas. I like the open-air design that offers views of the kitchen... and pizza oven behind the bar. I've only been here a couple times, but the service has been quick and friendly. Read more
