Stopped in for lunch for the first time. My husband had the Old South on wheat with broccoli salad as his side item. I got the... fancy Nancy on toasted white with chicken tortilla soup as my side. Everything was delicious! The guy who waited on us at thecounter was so nice and patient since it was our first time. He let me try a couple of samples to decide which flavor of chickensalad I wanted. We will definitely be back next time we are in town! Read more
Gotta say I was disappointed. Don?t want to slam but I got this salad on 4/26 and the date on the bottom of the package showed... 4/23. Don?t know about you, but when the milk carton date goes passed I am very careful before drinking it. Chicken Salad Chickshould be more aware of dated food. As an aside, I would expect a salad joint to make salads fresh daily?just cause that istheir ?Bread and butter?. Hope this store can learn from this review. I really loved the chicken salad scoops. Seasoned well and the recipe has been perfected. It's cold, but served fresh.The sides,... could use some help with flavor and seasoning. I had the chicken dumpling soup. It was okay. I definitely plan on coming backand buying more chicken salad scoops. TLDR: mainly American themed restaurants. AKA white people food. A great place for lunch that really hits the spot! They have a lot of different choices for the chicken salad, I just got the... classic one and it was delicious. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful to explain their menu to me...since it was my first visit to a Chicken... Salad Chick. I found out after a bit that it was only his fourth day on the job. I told him he was doing an excellent jobbecause I would never have guessed he was newly hired. The restaurant was cleaning and very appealing. Food was good. I only hadthe basic chicken salad, so it wasn?t anything fancy, but it tasted fresh. Read more
I was a little skeptical going in, because I thought it would be one of those #cheugy, froo-froo, gluten, non-GMO, vegan... nonsense kind of places. But this place is actually amazing. I took a chance on the Old Olive Chicken Salad (egg with a sweetpickle). It blows Panera's dish out of the water. The little extra cookie with your meal is a cherry on top. Yeah its $30 for 2people, but the food quality is there. Looking forward to my return visit. Read more
