So? I know pictures can be deceiving.. However. I ordered a bowl of the shrimp chowder and per the picture online, I was under... the impression that it would be crawling with shrimp (pun intended). Sadly there were literally 3 baby shrimp in the whole bowl.I was highly disappointed and can?t imagine that the protein amount listed in the nutrition facts is accurate. 2 stars becausethe soup was flavorful, but for $8. Totally not worth it. Read more

What a pleasant surprise! The flat bread pizza crust is incredibly flaky and light, the ingredients are all fresh and delicious.... You can make your own custom salads with any ingredients and no up charges. Ambience is great for a family, solo diner or quickmeal at lunchtime. A great healthy alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend! Read more

This place gives off a cute post-church family summer outing vibe. I could see groups of friends gathering here for lunch. I... like their concept; standing in line to order soup/salad etc before seating yourself. The decor here is great and people arefriendly. I hope to be back :) Read more

The food was pretty good albeit a little on the expensive side. Flat bread pizza was on the small side for ~$12. The salads are... very good and quite large. I also ordered an appetizer called pick up sticks (Jackie Chan flavor) & they were delicious andpriced fairly. Read more

Crushed Red is in Creve Coeur - which means creative creations are abound and they are wholesome too. Crushed Red is a... fast-casual restaurant that specializes in delicious yet healthy options with an artisan flair. Ninety percent of the menu isorganic, and personally, I prefer my fruit and veggie pesticide-free (if farmers can't breathe it while spraying it - why wouldI eat it) so the concept of this restaurant sits so right with me. If you have ever been to one of the other locations (Clayton& Kirkwood), it might have been a little perplexing when trying to order. I think they have learned that a change was needed, and there is a drastic improvement from the Clayton location. There is a greeter at the door that thoroughly explainseverything. At the first station, you will order your flatbreads and soups, then you're given a number that doesn't buzz(because that would be irritating), and then you're off to watch your custom salads prepared. With that said, be patient withthe Staff and yourself; and as soon as you get the hang of it, you will be totally comfortable and ready to command that menuand all of those options for toppings! In no time like magic, your items are brought to your table. Here you will find freshsalads chopped to order, fanatic flatbreads, soups, fresh fruit options, little cool to go desserts, and even wine and beer. There is so much variety here that everyone can find something they like. You can go with a set item on the menu or go rogue andcreate your own! This day I went with a salad and a flatbread. I had the "This Pear is on Fire" salad (spiced pears, driedcranberries, goat cheese, avocado with spinach and house mix) tossed with jalapeño honey mustard dressing and topped withcandied walnuts; and the fire-roasted veggie flatbread (artichokes, portabellas, onion, tomato, red pepper, pineapple & CrushedRed mozzarella blend with fresh rosemary). I was a little leery about the dressing on the salad, but it was really good. This s Read more

Went here for lunch, the place was packed. Ordering is kind of confusing, and it'll depend if you want hot items of not. I had... the mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage pizza and the Welcome Back Cobber salad (mini); your salad is prepared in front of you injust a few minutes and they will bring your pizza to your table. The salad was amazing, I finished it in just minutes. If theother salads are half as good as that one, you can't go there without trying one. The pizza was tasty but ok, average. Next timeI'll probably order just a salad, but bigger. I have to mention this, the service was great, super fast and everyone was reallynice. Read more
