The worse meal ever! Ordered chicken fried rice- it was left over rice and little white chicken pieces added , gross! Beef and... pepper - the beef was NOT eatable! The fried pot stickers, I think may have been frozen . I never complain but this was A VERYdisappointing meal! I use to order from Zang Chi, found another Chinese Restaurant ( Hunan Empress next to Brunswick Bowling onOlive, they were closed on Tuesday). Read more
The BEST Chinese food that we've found near West county. Very much worth the 25 minute drive. Large portions, affordable price... and SO fresh. Never had vegetable fried rice with so many fresh veggies. Read more
Great place as close to old NYC as you can hope for . I always find Zang Chi to be a friendly experience and have not been... disappointed by the food . They will even substitute a veggie you want for another . Read more
We've been ordering here for a few weeks now. I always get sweet and sour chicken. My husband likes this place but I noticed,... the chicken pieces are tiny and heavily breaded so you only get a sliver of chicken and then a bunch of cheap breading. I don'tknow what happened tonight but less then 25% of my piece had any chicken. It's like they run out and just fried the breading.Extremely unhappy and we will not be returning now. Read more
I just went and ordered take out. 2 lunch specials. One of them had a MAGGOT in the food (pictured below). Obviously after... seeing that we were both grossed out and weren't going to touch any more of our food. I took it back and they only refunded 1 ofthe orders, they said the second didn't have vegetables so it was fine and they wouldn't refund it. I don't care what it had init or where the maggot came from but I didn't trust eating any more of anything coming from the kitchen considering there weremaggots somewhere in your kitchen. It's disgusting and I understand sometimes things can happen so I wasn't planning on leavinga review but due to the customer service I received I had to share and let people know to check your food before eating it! ordered from here with DD. got potstickers and hot *BRAISED* pork. potstickers were good, but I've never had bad potstickers... anywhere. the Hot Braised Pork however was not. I expected tender pork that had been simmered in sauce, as that what braisingis. However this dish was deep fried in a thick dense batter. The pieces of pork were so small the batter overwhelmed them. Thebatter also seemed to absorb almost all of the sauce (didn't look like much) so i couldn't taste it over the oil taste. Irechecked the menu to see if I had missed where it described it as fried. its not on there. if the menu said fried I would havegotten something else. The dish was not at all what I thought i was getting, and even if I knew it was fried, just wasn't thatgood. if you order from here stick to the things you know are supposed to be fried. Read more
