We loved this quaint little bar/restaurant!! The staff was extremely friendly, the prices were right, and we completely enjoyed... the 20 yr. old that was there playing his guitar and singing. Everyone in the entire place did however talk about how hisparents needed to stop hoarding around him while he was trying to entertain the crowd. Other than that, everyone had awonderful time!! I visited this restaurant over the weekend. The staff was friendly; however, the behavior of the cook was appalling. A family... with multiple small kids was seated near the front entrance of the restaurant. I observed the cook come from behind the counterand congregate with the family, as it was apparent that he knew them. That's not the problem. I further observed the cook rubthe hair/head of one of the kids in a playful manner. There's nothing wrong with this except the fact that he did not wash hishands or put on gloves before proceeding to remove my pizza from the oven and cut it. Playing in anyone's hair and thenimmediately handling/preparing food thereafter, without sanitizing hands, is unsanitary and unhygienic. Aside from the unknowns(was the kid's hair clean, did he have lice, etc.) it was an uncomfortable experience. To make matters worse, I expressed myconcerns to my server and asked that the cook not handle my pizza. Well, this didn't work because I watched him remove my pizzafrom the oven and cut it with dirty hands. They even proceeded to bring the pizza to my table, as if I was going to eat itanyway. This also brings to question if his hands were clean BEFORE he prepared my pizza. Based off of the behavior and lack ofsanitary practices witnessed, I predict not. I will never eat here again and will never recommend this place to anyone. It'stoo risky. Read more
The best Crabby Bites, Double Cheese burger and OMG, the Crabby cheese pizza! Wonderful food, the service was even better, and... the Orange crushes were Bar none!!! Recommend this gem of a dining experience to anyone!! Made my 4th of July to dine with thesefine folks, and the atmosphere was exquisite!!! If it had a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 20!!!
