We were devastated to find we couldn't have a camp fire while camping @ Davy Crockett National Forest. We ran to Crockett and... were very happy to eat here. They provided us the patio for our service dog and the waitress was wonderful. Read more

Dated but the food is great. Love the family sized nachos for less than $15! Not a fan of warm salsa (prefer it cold) but the... other two sauces you get make up for it, spicy ranch style dip and a tomatillo salsa. Read more

This place is hot and miss. Sometimes it's very good. Other times you can ask for a bean and cheese burrito only and it takes... over 1 hr to get it. And they are not busy at the time . Read more

My boyfriend and I went for dinner and we drove an hour to visit the restaurant. We had a great server named Martin. He was... very attentive and speedy with everything. The kitchen was great with great food and everything came out quickly. The issuestarted when another server was discussing food with her table behind us. She asked them if they wanted to order food and theytold her that they were from out of town and they read that they had horrible food and they were not sure if they wanted toorder they were just wanting to drink. She didn?t reply to them and said well to be honest my parents won?t eat here eitherbecause they don?t like the food but they do come to drink the margaritas. Me being a palled by what I heard I cannot believethey serve her who works for the restaurant would tell a customer who came from out of town not to order food from therestaurant. She then proceeded to continue to tell them that other items on the menu we?re not going to order either. She wenton and on about the only thing worth ordering was alcoholic beverages. She then kept talking about how she hast to work longhours and hast to tip out the bus boys and everything else and by the end of the day she barely has any money left over. Iunderstand because I to work for a restaurant that everybody has to work together as a team. I don?t know if this is her firstserving job but she definitely needs to be retrained on how to show the customers that TaTas has several options for everycustomer. Her name is Kaylee. Read more

Ed and I shared a bowl of scrumptious tortilla soup (add the generous dollop of ripe avo!) and tenderize breast deep fried... drizzled with melted cheese and a house made creamy jalapeño sauce. This man sized patty of tender breast comes with rice andbeans and hit the spot after a long day driving! Our server was helpful and sweet, smiled and checked on us several times. Weappreciated the Southern hospitality! Read more

Really good tex mex food, that actually caught me off guard. Being born and raised in san antonio, tortillas beans and rice... come with combo plates automatically. That wasnt the case here. Our waitress "D" was outstanding and the restaurant lookedreally clean inside. Would eat here anytime I'm in town. Read more

Eclectic decor and huge portions. Note: a chalupa here is more like a tostada. I'm not Mexican so I cannot say which is the... authentic way but here, it is served in tostada style. Nothing I ate was spicy and the staff were nice, albeit a bit slow. If Iever get the opportunity to visit again, I'll get the chicken quesadilla dinner as that looked AMAZING! Read more

We love this place. Great service, delicious food & drinks and great prices. It's very cozy, whether you sit inside at a booth... or table or even their Bar. Oh yeah they also have a beautiful deck with a smoking section and a no smoking section. And don'tlet me forget to tell you about the music station were you can play music and take a family photo all at the same time. Me andmy family go here a lot and we all love it.
