Never been to Crofton, but I'd searched up an eatery where I could bring the dog (60lb Saarloos). I discovered Osborne Bay Pub... from Google, and wanted to give it a try. Went on a Sunday with a party of 4 plus one dog. Has great parking, nice patio wherewe could sit, and they'd very kindly provided a small bucket of water for the dog. Was happy to see there were a few other dogsthere as well. Our service was nice and prompt, drinks arrived not too long after, and questions were answered confidently. Wearrived during happy hour, where I chose the popcorn shrimp and fries. Was really good (shrimp tasted fresh, came with its owncocktail-style sauce), I was happy with the portions, and the drinks were good also. I would recommend trying this place inCrofton, it's a decently-sized pub as well. Great place to try: quaint town, lovely water view, definitely a location to relaxand unwind, especially if you want to avoid the city. Read more
After we hiked Skutz Falls we went to The Osborne Bay Pub. It was the 1st time any of us 4 had been there. The drink menu was... ample enough, good selection of draft beer and red and white wines. I had the Osborne Bay burger with salad. Both were verygood. I stole couple fries off my wife's plate and they were very good. After my burger I ordered a side if fries for myself.The 2 piece fish n' chips had 2 good sized pieces of fish and the home cut fries were very good as I stated earlier. If we're inthe area again and feeling hungry and thirsty, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again. Give it a try. ???????????????? Read more
So you don?t feel like cooking, you want a night out and you are hoping for a good, no an amazing meal. Look no further than the... OB Pub. Folks are like family, the food incredible, awesome selection of tap beer. The specials especially Sunday night Ribs,best Fish and Chips ever ( real chips). Great tasting food with good sized portions and great service. I was actually shocked a bit by how much food there was. I had... pop corn shrimp and fries and I could barely see the fries there was so much shrimp, and at happy hour it's a deal you can'tbeat. Servers are friendly and service was very good. Nice ocean and mountain view (we sat on the patio) and the patio was dogfriendly with water available for the dogs to have a drink, happy hour offers some great deals.
