I never thought I?d leave McDonald?s a review, but here we are. Placed an order on my mobile app, get to the store, am told at... the first window I?m good to go. Get to the 2nd window, and the girl named Diana tries to tell me my order wasn?t paid for. Ishowed her my order confirmation, as well as my banking app where you can see a charge from McDonald?s with todays date & thesame amount shown on the app. She says ?that?s nice, that?s not a receipt? and shows me something on HER personal cell phonethat?s supposed to mean my card declined. She then went and got who I assume was the store manager. She looked at my phone, saidsomething in Spanish, and the other lady handed me my bag. No apology, no explanation, not even a ?have a good day?. There?s aMcDonald?s on Washington & one on Berlin road. I won?t be back to this location, unless I?m redeeming a free item. Service was really fast! That's the one star I give them! The reason the service was fast is because the fries were old and the... food was cold! All the toppings of the sandwich were literally (and I hate that word!) all on left side of the burger this wasthe toppings and the meat were in the middle right side half of the bun... My burger so cold you couldn't even adjust anything alittle bit. No receipt unless you ask. Dunno if policy, but definitely not a good one! Had no time to fix it or I'd be late towork. Read more

McDonald's in Cromwell is a convenient stop over for a quick meal or snack. In this visit we met up with an acquaintance and to... grab a snack. Although this is not our usual McDonald's of choice since we have one closer to home it was quite close and it isconveniently located to various shopping venues including Stop and Shop diagonally across the street, the Dollar Tree in theplaza less than a mile down the road( which also has a grocery store ShopRite), and Walmart a few miles away. Thus it can easilybe integrated into errands or weekly grocery runs. The parking lot is rather tight. Being near the interchange with Rte 9 andthe connection to interstate 91 there are many trucks stopping in for a rest or quick meal. This time there was a large carcarrier taking up several spaces, making caution to enter necessary. The spaces are not huge and in an SUV we had to take care.The lot was above 75% capacity mid day on a work day. The entrance and exit were well marked and visible from the street. Therestaurant itself is as one has come to expect from a typical McDonald's. The service was pleasant and friendly. One of thebiggest draws for me is the inexpensive food. The quality is very consistent as one expects with a box chain store. If you arelooking for a healthy meal or gourmet, McDonald's probably is not the choice for you. What it does shine at is inexpensivepredictable food served quickly with a smile and that's what I got. The restaurant offers indoor dining options. We opted toorder in and eat in our cars because we were awaiting the arrival of someone and wanted to be able to spot them. There was amplespace to dine in had we chosen to, and there are several window seats with a view of the world going by outside. The drivethrough line was lengthy, and we got a better parking spot. This is a good location. The staff here is an older crew. Ordered breakfast egg, cheese, bacon on a biscuit, hash brown and... coffee. Food was as expected. Wait was not too long approx 2 to 3 minutes. Read more
Went to drivethru had trouble with app by the time we got to second window he let me use code. They were pretty good.
