I just closed down my home store in deerwood and forgot cat food lol. That's the reason I went there. Plus Gordy is awesome!
I was on my lunch break, and the older woman was having conversations with the customers trying to leave the store, making me... stand there for 7 min waiting, than I got back to work with my chicken sticks and they were not cooked they were frozen... Nolunch and no time to run back there to get new food. And they are always out of coffee creamer every other day. Only thing goodabout this store is probably the free air machine for my tires... needs better employees forsure! Not saying all of them are badbut most are. ???? Read more
Jason, Probably the reason why you experienced an apathetic response from the overnight cashier was because the most awesome... cashier extraordinaire, otherwise known as "Gordy" was out on medical leave. He reported how during his leave, he heard manycomplaints from customers and now he's back at work. He also reported begging the doctor to let him return but they would notrelent, protecting his health over his duty to his store. That's the kind of commitment you find from Gordy. He also reportedhow the Garrison gas station cannot fill the overnight position and so unlike many stores, we are very grateful to have theCrosby gas station open 24 hours a day. My only concern is what happens when Gordy retires next year? My experiences atHoliday have only been positive and uplifting, with the majority of the cashiers truly interested in our lives and in providingextraordinary service, not only to us but to the community. Sorry you had trouble, Jason, but there's usually a reason behindthe trouble, and in this case, it was that Gordy wasn't on duty as he usually is, dutifully working the night shift at theCrosby gas station. Daytime hours have been great, employees are very friendly, overnight staff is a whole different story. Just walked in an said... hi to the cashier, no response. Only thing the cashier said was my total. No thank you, nothing. So I say thank you, theirresponse..."yup" Can only say this store needs better overnight staffing. At least someone that can say hi and thank you, ratherthan a scoff and yup. Read more
Well first of all it just seems greasy in here, and none of the employees properly wear a mask over their noses (maybe they?re... too big or something?). Also Half of the customers that come in here don?t even bother wearing a mask, and to make this evenbetter the employees are on first name bases with them and don?t even say anything about them not wearing a mask. You?ll belucky if you don?t catch COVID here ???????????. Read more
Nice holiday. Clean store, coffee has always been fresh, bathrooms clean. Employees are friendly and willing to help with... questions. Great place to stop and gas up or grab a quick bite on the go. Read more
Love going here. Friendly. Larger variety of items. Plus great deals on things like Milk. Great donuts..but get there early if... you want certain kinds as they go quickly. Read more
