Iron Range Eatery does have a cute atmosphere and halfway decent food, but the service my table received was hands-down some of... the worst I've had in years. Maybe I came at the wrong time, but the staff was entirely 18-20something year-olds who seemed likethey'd rather be anywhere else. Our drinks took a good 10+ minutes to get (they were pops and we were right by the bar), and ourmeal took well over an hour. Instead of trying to help the kitchen staff, I saw many of the 5+ servers sitting at the bar whilewaiting, or just standing and talking to each other. Our server in particular came to our table maybe 3 times, and every timeshe acted like us being there was a major inconvenience. When we pointed out midway through our meal that we were never givennapkins/silverware, she quickly dumped the napkins on us without apology. The few times she did come to check on us, shewouldn't even pause long enough to give her the opportunity to as for anything. She never apologized for the ridiculous wait,either. I totally get that everyone is understaffed these days, but an apology--or at the VERY least an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT--goes along way. We have had better service elsewhere. I get they are busy but we shouldn’t have to ask another waiter for silverware and wait... until our meal is almost over for water refills. Kids meal grilled cheese pic posted below. Read more
It's a cute place, but the staff isn't very friendly. It wouldn't cost them anything to smile a little bit. We were there for... more than 45 minutes and our food never arrived, so we can't comment on the kitchen's level of skill. Sadly, it wasn't evenoverly busy. We ended up walking out. One of my favorite spots to grab dinner and a good drink! I like that their menu changes somewhat often so I get to try... something new. The lavender lemonade martini is always my favorite drink though :) service has always been great! Read more
Long wait for so-so food, they seemed like they had plenty of staff but maybe only one cook. It was abnormally hot inside as... well and lots of flies. More Bar setting that restaurant, loud like a bar, if your looking for far far better food of thisstyle the Pub and Grub is just down the street and far and away better food. Read more
Pros - excellent waiting staff. Super friendly. Cons - overpriced food for the quality of the product. Cheese curds were... decent. The queso was lacking in flavor and salt. It was a really boring queso dip. Read more
