Service was slow (despite it NOT being crowded), but server was friendly. My wife ordered the biscuits & gravy breakfast...... gravy was congealed, biscuits were so hard that they couldn't be cut (we asked for replacements, they were just the same), andhash browns were limp and undercooked. She asked for extra bacon, didn't receive it (but was charged for it... we got it removedfrom the tab). I had the honey butter chicken - Chicken was WAY overcooked, my biscuits were as hard as my wife's. We orderedcinna-biscuits as an appetizer, they came when we were almost done with our meals. We've eaten at a lot of Bob Evans, never hadan experience like this before, and hope we never do again. Read more
The waitress Cindy was from Suffolk Virginia and she was very nice and ensure that our coffee cup stayed filled and we had... plenty to eat. The young lady that check us out was very friendly and wish us a safe trip.. Great stop for lunch Read more

The restaurant in Cross Lanes, WV was busy and short-handed. However, our waitress was the best. She was also training a new... waitress. A table of "senior ladies" was giving our waitress a really unnecessary, hard time just because an egg was cookedwrong. This waitress was very nice to the ladies and stayed very calm. Of course the trainee was nervous but they waitressexplained to her to just stay cool and calm. The ladies giving her a hard time were loud and rude. Everyone in this sectionheard everything. A gold star should go to this young, short, black haired waitress (didn't get her name but had a tattoo onher neck saying I love Robert). Her professionalism really showed through and I'm sure she made the trainee feel better. Read more
Accidentally went here on my way out and back on my trip. First leg, nice enough staff but terribly slow with no concept of... travelers trying to keep moving. Walk up bar is closed, 20 minute wait for a table, took 5 minutes just to pay my bill. A weeklater on the way home, stopped again not realizing it was the same location. 30 minute wait for a table but they at least let mepay faster when I was leaving. I just don't understand. Seemed like a full kitchen to push out food but they keep just less thanhalf the tables empty because the food orders are stacked. They had to turn away business that couldn't wait 30 minutes for atable. I usually stop at a different location that has me in and out in 30 minutes, this one takes an hour, even when orderingwhen we are being seated. But my kid likes Bob Evans so that makes it worth stopping, even when it takes a long time. Food wasgood both times though. Read more
Below you can see what the cooks consider a side order of hash browns. The fluffy look is due to prongs used to hoast all thise... scrapes of potatoes into its housing. Is it worth the money? Nope!! Whoever runs, owns or CEO'S this once stellar businesssucks. Read more
Missed the xit to go to the BobEvans.. Closer to the farm ..so we stopped at the next one...it was really good..we haven't ate... all day an was on our way back 2NC so it was a wonderful visit..my friend alex is originally from Cuba .. an all the way up theroad I talked about stopping by their on our way home..he really enjoyed it an loveds his meal...i got the peppered bacon andmaple syrup..omg..it was awesome..i ordered the whole hog with 1french toast&1pan cake..it was really delicious.. Server was kind. Food was fine But I asked the server who closed last night? I Was the 1st customer of the day Sunday 10/23/22.... I pointed out all the trash on the floor under tables and baseboards. We talked about how lazy the workforce is becoming andemployees are hard to find. This is a managerial problem. Manager should inspect that store and if it's not clean you don't gohome. Customers should not have to let you know that. Read more
