First time here. Didn\'t seem like the bartender liked us at first but he warmed up quickly and provided quality service. They... have a wonderful food menu and a large outside patio area. Food is consistently great...they\'ve done a terrific job at trying to replicate some southern staples. I\'m from the Gulf Coast... and the Pecan Praline Chicken sandwich could definitely give the restaurants there a run for their money. Love the okraappetizer...very rarely do I see that on any menu in the midwest. Love the shrimp poboy...great bread...nice size shrimp thoughI think they could add a couple more to the sandwich. Cocktail was good we ordered the chicken tenders, there was no actual flavor and the chicken was stringey. We ordered the... platter but got only the tenders, waitress/bartender said oops forgot. Probably won\'t be going back Read more
Visited in on the Friday night before Mother\'s Day. Stopped at bar while our table of 7 was prepared. There is outside patio... for dining, but weather a bit cold for that during our visit. Staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was pretty standardfare and \"Bistro\" in the restaurant name is a bit of a stretch. Our table had fish fry but commented coleslaw was toovinegary. Others had chicken strips which were a bit chewy and tastless without a dunking sauce. The fried potato chips arenothing to brag about though come with most entrees. Overall an okay visit based on location, affordability and service but foodwas just average. Read more
Stopped in at random late morning on a longer trip.\n\nThe food was average but the prices make you feel you should be getting... something more than average. $20 sandwiches should be tasty and satisfying not dry and miserable.\n\nService was a bit odd, ourserver didn\'t know if there was coffee available and he had a bit of an \"it\'s my first day\" feel, but come on, it\'s coffee,you shouldn\'t need to check if you sell coffee.\n\nDon\'t know what the general vibe is like the rest of the time but if youlike five TVs playing Mike and Molly while three more TVs show something else entirely, then you are going to love it.
