Myself and 2 friends dined here for the first time and we're very glad we did. All of the food we ordered was delicious and... arrived at the table hot. The one steak that was ordered was a perfect medium rare. Mary Ann was our server and she wasexcellent. The kitchen's timing was impeccable and Mary Ann took great care of us. She is a rarity today. I'm so glad we addedthe Hilltop to our supper clubs to try. This was number 21 on our list and will be one we will happily repeat. A classic not tobe missed. Come early! Read more
I cannot say enough great things about The Hilltop! Each time we have gone, our food has been amazing! We had our holiday work... party there this year. They were pretty busy that night, and I can tell you the service was still seamless! Very organized,great food, great drinks and friendly staff! Highly recommend! Read more
Awesome to have an old school supper club back in operation! The food was excellent, the drinks were strong and the patrons... were as friendly as the bartenders and waitstaff. This place brings back memories of how supper clubs used to be. Arriveearly, make reservations, enjoy the cheeseball and crackers at the bar before dinner and order an old fashion brandy sour with aslice of lime. I went with a couple of friends. When we first sat at our table, they gave us warm rolls with honey butter. For our main meal... we all had the perch, I had fries, one had the au gratin potatoes and the other had a baked potato. We all three enjoyed ourmeal. You get a lot of food, so we opted to get carrot cake to go. It was just ok, I've had better. The Old Fashioned wasdelicious and the service was great. I'll go back. Read more
The so called garlic bread was just their typical rolls they serve before your meal so those were okay but soaked with hot... oil/grease from being deep fried. Food was served hot. I got physically sick after eating the 2 pieces of breasted chicken. $1more if you want all dark or white meat. Read more
First time for me at hilltop. Had bourbon old fashion press and cheese balls at bar. Good. Very friendly staff. Ordered. Cod... fish fry and walley fish fry with au gratin potaots. Potatos tasted like a cellery salt bowl with mushy potatos. Yuck. Walley was very good. Cod was very greasy and lots of soft breading, soaked in grease.. Could not get myself to even eat theblobs Yuck. Walley breading was hot and crispy. Cole slaw was heavy mayo based and was very very sweet. Could barely tastethe cabbage. Just not a good meal at all. Great supper club, has all of the expected nightly specials. Went for fish fry both the cod and perch were great! The service... was perfect, very attentive and new drinks were on their way before we finished our first round. The atmosphere was pretty calmand the dining area is deceptively large. Room for very large groups. Read more
