Menu isn't what it used to be. Food was just OK service was slow. What happened to WH? No more T-bone Steaks, no pork chops,... no more calling out scattered, covered, smothered, and chopped. Just ain't Waffle House anymore. Read more
Waffle House has changed and not for the better in my opinion. Service was slow ????. Menu not what it used to be. Can no... longer get a T Bone steak, no longer can you get a pork chop. Used to enjoy the waitstaff calling out the orders to the cook.The cook never writing down the orders and always got them right. Not to mention how fast your food was ready. Not any more. Read more

After a long day of driving, we stopped at Waffle House to eat dinner. My in laws joined us and we walked in and the girl behind... the counter looked at us and said "oh I'm so sorry, that entire section is closed" talking about the area where we were tryingto sit since we had six people. So we go to sit down but none of the available tables had even been cleaned. We go ahead and sitand it was still several minutes before anyone wiped our table down. And while we were eating, another family walked in and satdown at the same spot where we were told we couldn't sit at not 20 minutes before. There were flies EVERYWHERE, the hand dryerin the women's bathroom didn't work... I was just truly disappointed with how poorly maintained this Waffle House was. Read more

I love the food, always have. Some locations vary however. The cook the in Crossville store is not afraid to get my scattered,... covered, smothered, diced, and capped welllllll done either! It seems full all the time lately; that's a good sign to me. Thewaffle iron must be extremely clean because my husband's waffle was beautiful, tasty, and the business imprint was soclear! What's there not to love about Waffle House ??? Our waitress Marisa was a ???? star player. The food was perfect, hot and fast.... This WH in Cookeville off i40 has an easy on/easy off access to the interstate. Read more
This location was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious. Waitress was on it with service!
