I will preface this by saying I have never left a negative review ever. I dont find it fair to businesses. However after being... dismissed once in person and the management/owner not returning my phone call, this is my last option. My family was there lastsaturday, it was not very busy when we arrived, as it was early in the evening. However after we ordered the tables filledquickly. Server was snarky with my husband when she said the beer he ordered wasn't available, then took 15 minutes to returnwith his reorder. My husband's food arrived 45 minutes later with cold fries and a stale sub roll, a different server asked ifwe were still waiting on other food. I informed her that yes, my food was yet to come out. Another 20 minutes later no food orserver in sight. At this point it's been over 90 minutes since arriving, and our baby was starting to get cranky and make a bitof noise. Only then did a manager finally appear to say my food would be right out. I declined receiving it as I would not beable to eat or enjoy my meal with a now cranky baby, also my husband was finished his meal and there was no point dragging thisexperience out any longer. I received no apology, only a flippant excuse that they were short handed. He quite magnanimouslyoffered to take the food I never received off the bill, then walked away as I was mid sentence with a dismissive wave of hishand. Then our server reappeared, again without apology only the bill in hand and started complaining to the hostess about howthe night had gone. I paid the bill without a word and left, since the manager made it abundantly clear we were not worth histime and energy. Read more

Always a pleasure eating here. Went with my parents, (their first time there). We enjoyed our various soup options, along with... the most delicious wings. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Read more

South Coast is a fabulous, bustling beach-town pub with a broad menu that they execute very well. We started with the crab cakes... which were bursting with flavour and perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed the local perch fish tacos and the fish was fresh andcomplimented by the other ingredients without being overpowered. The sweet potato fries are thick-cut and crispy on theoutside. My partner had the Asian ginger wings and that sauce is the bomb. I used some of the leftover sauce to dip my fries -highly recommend the combo. With a range of craft and local taps as well as domestic favourites, it's easy to find something forall tastes here. This is our third time at South Coast (coming from Thorold) and it's been delicious every time. Read more

Not bad. Good food. Definitely not worth the price tag, though. Obviously catering to the one-and-done tourist clientele. I'm... not sad I ate here, but I also don't see any reason to go back. Read more

Takeout order took a while past the estimated time. garlic bread & cheese was ok, burgers and fries were overdone, onion rings... very oily, steak was good, fish was good, avoid the chowder, mac & cheese was plain pasta with shredded cheese on top and a bitof a sauce (not creamy at all). Really cute homey decor. Read more
