They close at 3 pm now during the weekdays and not open on weekends. Drove all the way there and noticed it was dark inside.... This is our go to Potbelly?s. I?m assuming it?s staffing shortage like everywhere else. Try the one in Algonquin. Huge bummer. Read more
This store is not a good one. Today I placed an on line order, and they quoted an 1 hour + wait time. Only 3 employees, not a... large line but no ability to accommodate producing a sandwich for nearly 90 minutes. With a post 2 PM promise time, and a 3 PMclose time for the store, I have zero confidence in this place. Online tools do not provide the ability to cancel or change theorder, and the store staff have no ability to cancel or refund the transaction without a 2 to 5 day wait period. The managerdid a good job staying calm in the face of my irritability but she needs to find a new key phrase. The fifth time hearing "I'msorry you feel that way but, I can't help you" does nothing to deescalate the situation. I doubt very much that they willactually process that refund. Read more
Could not order online. Tried several times. Did this to save time, but it wasted my time. Tried calling Crystal Lake location... to order food. I wasted my lunch hour trying to order. I will not try again. time is money and my time was wasted forsomething simple. Then when I called to order, music was playing and I couldn't hear the stupid recording...had to call it againto listen again. I never tried Potbellies. I was interested today. They lost a customer without even trying. I won't tryagain. Things that should be easy these days, just isn't. I'm not wasting my time on stupid. Ordering lunch should beesy...it was not. Now I have to monitor my credit card to make sure I wasn't charged. The system would not accept my card andI was prompted I didn't fill out all the fields. Today we tried the new Gryo Flatbread and the Mamas Meatball both were really good. I would suggest getting the gryo on white... bread instead of the flatbread. Read more
I ordered two sandwiches to go and got home to realize the chicken salad was missing on my one sandwich. I called and they... offered to personally bring a new sandwich and make it right! Blown away and very happy. I am now well fed and happy. Everyonemakes mistakes, but only legit good people will make it better than right. The skinny soup and sandwich flat and a children's 5$ meal. The service was relatively quick and the food was exactly what we... wanted. My son got the mac n'cheese and it was very good... no simple kraft boxed noodles, a great amount of options. I got themushroom and cheese flat with hot peppers and it was too good. OMG, the bread is delicious toasted perfectly. Slight crisp on exterior and soft inside. Split "A Wreck" plus hot peppers and... onions...Nice alternative to Panera or other sandwich shop...Yummm. Read more
