Texas Roadhouse is one of those chain restaurants that you know when you go, that it's not going to be top tier. First of all, I... can't stand Country music. Secondly, I can't stand any team sports as I feel they hinder the evolution of our male species. However, the service and the food are excellent. I like the convenience of how reservations are made. They aren't calledreservations, but that's what I call them. I forget their way of describing it. Basically you tell the staff when you plan onarriving, and then text them "here" when you have arrived. I think my mom and I waited 10 minutes max. We were early too. Therestaurant is super loud. I couldn't hear what the staff was saying half the time. When you are being guided to be seated, thehostess will ask you if you want to pick out your beef. They have it on display in a case. I wanted to scream at the girlseating us, "I can't hear you over this horrible music!" But I didn't want her to take it personally. To corporate: you'reannoying if you think this music level is appropriate. Anyway, all the meat in the case looked devoid of fat and it actuallydiscouraged me from the experience I was about to have. Again, the staff was super sweet. No problems here. Our waiter was alsosuper sweet. My mom kept hitting on him and I thought that was awesome. He didn't look like the kind of guy that watchedfootball or barked at the TV screen, so that scored points with me also. The margaritas were tasty, but they did not come outconsistently tasting the same way. My mom ordered a Jamaican Cowboy, which tasted better than the mango one I ordered. When Iwent to order one of what she was having, mine tasted different. The food was delicious. We ordered the blooming onion, and thedipping sauce paired with the friend onion was so good. I was worried about the lean meats I saw in the meat refrigerator, butthe sirloin that I ordered came out tasting delicious. It was perfectly pink in the center. My mom's fillet was the Read more

Hello Texas Roadhouse staff and online customer base, Sam Price here, Nationwide Texas Roadhouse connoisseur. Last night my good... friend and I hit the Roadhouse on empty stomachs, and lets just say.. We surely did not leave that way. Our waitress, Alyssa, was perfect in all aspects. Greeted us nicely, had fresh buns on rapid fire with two cups of butter, big plus. Also, she cameout with another glass of water for me, the literal second I finished mine. Outstanding timing. To end the night, we had toloosen our belts while having our smile ear to ear based on our experience. The food was as tasteful as ever, and I would liketo extend my appreciation for the wonderful service I received. I greatly recommend this Texas Roadhouse, located in CrystalLake, to anyone looking for amazing food matched with outstanding service! Read more

Went with friends and the atmosphere was wonderful. Had a great time and the food was immaculate! Seasoning on everything,... including the bread rolls for starters, was on point. Definitely a place for anyone wanting to leave with a happy full stomach. As well as a great bar selection for those looking to replace the soft drink with a hard drink :) Read more

We had a crew of 14. 8 of them were children. + a service dog. Had our family dinner here... It was the 2nd time in my life... that I had gotten to meet my REAL Brother. We shared the same Dad and our Dad died when we were both to young to rememberhim.... He did not know he had a brother and a couple weeks before this I had finally found him thru Ancestry.... So we choseto have a MASSIVE family dinner here and it was GREAT... They were pretty accommodating given the circumstances... Food wasgood, but the service was OUTSTANDING.... The waitress even helped in taking the family photo and they were on time withEVERYTHING...... Even while the place was SLAMMED. The ONLY thing I wish I would have considered prior is the noise levelbefore making the decision to do it at Texas Roadhouse... BUT - the service made up for it, and the kids got used to itquick... It ALL worked out PERFECTLY soooo... THANK YOU TO THE STAFF THAT DAY!!!!!!!! I'm the waitress won't forget us. lol Read more
