The previous week, I picked up a couple of gyros to go, so I decided to dine in this visit. Both times, Debbie took care of me,... and she was a wonderful server. Very friendly and courteous, she answered my questions and made every attempt to ensure she tookmy order correctly. I decided to get the gyro deluxe - gyro with fries and a Greek salad. The Greek salad was actually verygood, with lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, olives, and feta cheese crumbles and a little Greek seasoning sprinkled on top. Itis served with Greek dressing, but tastes great without any dressing as well. The gyro and fries came out nice and hot. I likemy gyros tomato only, add feta, and I must say there was plenty of gyro meat, tomato, and feta cheese on this gyro. I askedabout the branding of the pita and meat, and was pleased with the answer provided, as the meat was definitely not lesserquality, pre-sliced that too many places carry these days. (There is good quality pre-sliced gyro meat out there but not toomany places carry it.) The fries were pretty tasty as well. Not the usual fare found everywhere else. They had a nice outercrispness to them, while quite flavorful on the inside without being starchy. Good place to go for gyros and other Greek food inCrystal River. Read more
VERY good Gyro! ???? I ordered the Gyro Deluxe for take away and enjoyed every bit of it! ???? The pita was fresh and soft. ... There was a generous amount of gyro meat and the tzatzki sauce was spot on. The fries and salad were really good too. My orderwas ready when promised. No complaints. This is the only place I will get gyro and large Greek salad. They are great! Extremely reasonable! The only reason for only 4... stars is that I have never ordered anything else. When in area I look forward to getting what I love. Read more
It's been about 10 years since I enjoyed the Olive Tree, but the food was as delicious as I recall. The dolmades were wonderful... and the Gyro platter was excellent Definitely a great option for anyone looking for Greek cuisine. Read more

This place is amazing. We ordered a Caesar chicken wrap, an order of French toast, with a side of fries and grits. Everything... was absolutely delicious. The fries were those crispy on the outside tender in the middle. So good! Staff is super friendlyand the prices are like from the 80s. First time here but will definitely be back! Read more
If I didn't know better, I would think I was overseas! The food is classic and the taste is perfect! Lamb off the cone and... everything is basically home made. Portions are great and the price is right. The wait staff is wonderful and the owners arevery personable. If you're in Crystal River, stop into the Olive Tree for an awesome Gyro! Read more
