Family of 4 dining in a little before 6 P.M. on a Thursday night. Seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and attentive... for the time we were there. Ordered fried pickles and the hog wild cheese fries along with drinks as soon as we sat down. Tookat least 20 min. for the appetizers to come out. The fried pickles were the highlight of the entire meal. The fries left alot tobe desired. Fries were very bland with no taste at all. Ordered the 18oz. ribeye medium with a side of onion rings for our meal. The steak was crisp on the outside but was nowhere near even rare on the inside. The meat was raw. Asked who I believe was themanager to just take the meal off our ticket. She stated that they try to undercook the meat a little in case it isn't doneenough and offered to cook it some more. Well this wasn't even close so I again stated I just wanted it taken off of my ticket. After a frank comment she reluctantly agreed to do so. We will not be returning. Read more

My food was fairly good (only been here once so not an accurate assessment) the chicken was great the rice was a bit salty but... overall it wasn't a bad experience . I will definitely go back and give it another shot. The real star of our dining experiencewas the employees especially our waitress. The staff was super nice and attentive. Read more

Cheap and you get what you pay for. My NY strip was 10oz and came out looking like a 6oz hanger steak. Onions were not cooked... long enough. Only good thing for our entire party was the salad. Sad. Read more

Having seen billboard advertising for the Brandin Iron for a couple of years in between N Alabama and Birmingham. My wife and I... decided to stop by for a relaxing bite. We were seated quickly. The Older Staff were attentive and stopped by often. Theyounger staff seemed new, The fans were blowing at full speed. We asked the younger server to have the overhead fan turned downbecause of the chill and cooling off our food. She said she would check. The kicker was when the server brought our relativelyhot meal, she said no to turning down the fan and asked if we needed anything else The steaks were average at best and not ofvery good quality. The whole dining experience was diminished by the dismissive attitude of the server and hermanagement. After leaving most of the meal that was cold, we paid and left. As always a major factor was poor training andcustomer satisfaction not being a priority. We will not be back. Read more

First time to the Brandon Iron. The food was so good. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare just as I like it. The... hamburger steak was well done just like my husband likes it. The fried dill pickles were the best we have had. Our waitress wasawesome! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Read more

Salads are good. Last two times I've been, have been very disappointing. Pork chops were dry. Steak tips tasted a bit off. A... rancid taste. Probably won't be going back. Read more

Good. Very slow to get through, but they have a sign that basically says to be nice or put in an application, so I assume they... are hurting for people like everyone else. I do want to specifically say that the pork chops here are unbelievably, incredibly, stupendously, slap your mama crazy good and I don't think you will find me saying that anywhere else on another review. I willalso say their pricing is extremely reasonable. Make sure you order a side salad. Read more

All the servers and staff we encountered were very friendly! The food was ok. Priced right for what you get. Pies are store... bought frozen, not homemade. Cute country western atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Read more
