I don't know who thinks that watery red sauce that was on my pulled pork sandwich is what BBQ sauce is, but it's not. Food was... alright, "BBQ sauce" left much to be desired. Meat had kind of an odd taste to it. Drowned it in ranch and called it good. Allyou could taste in the baked beans was the peppers and onions. I'll give it a "meh" at best. We had Jim N Nick's 1 lb Rib meal with fries and I had the baked beans and wife had same wit Mac n cheese Ribs were were meaty... and tender with a sauce crust fresh cut fries were hot and crisp and beans had a nice little after burn. Love their food! Would give it 5 stars if they had a better choice of sides and desserts! I don't like the collard greens, too... spicy turnip greens withoutthe'spicey' would be much better. They are the only bbq rest. here that doesn't offer greenbeans????????. Their fried pickles are choice????! Catfish is excellent ????as well as their ribs????! Yum! We had great serviceout on the patio as well as awesome service with their takeout/curbside pick-up! Don't care for any of their desserts-not a fanof cream pies. Read more
Last night we honestly received the BEST service ever by a wonderful girl named Abby. Why leave a 1 star review then?? Well the... manager working last night was absolutely disgusting towards our server. He made her cry infront of everyone, raising his voicein front of the entire restaurant - Causing a scene. And it appears he treats all his employees this way. I truly pray that thatpoor girl left that establishment and I will certainly never be back unless the owners do what is right and get rid of thatabusive excuse for a manager. Read more

Jim n Nicks has a decent menu and I believe they stay within their wheelhouse of what they can do well. The salads are fresh... prepared and the various smoked meats are always good. I?ve heard the wings are good but have never had them. The bartenderJason was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and organized. We had the ribs and loaded baked potato both wereplentiful and service was super fast. Isabelle kept our glasses full and did a great job on keeping us happy. Update July 2022- We sat at the bar and had a good lunch. Pig in the garden is always good. Service and food was good. Staff very friendly asusual. I?ll definitely be going back. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because of our server and the food. The hostess is a joke. Ignored us and another couple... wait for over 10 minutes while she talked on the phone. After we finally got her attention, she went back to the phone andignored us again. After the other couple kept complaining, we all got seated. The server ( Lillian) was terrific! First, Janey, the server, was fantastic. Very attentive, made good recommendations, and has a sense of humor. Words to describe... the food: rich, moist, and flavorful. I ordered the quarter chicken plate with baked beans and potato salad. The chicken wasmoist and flavorful and I enjoyed the spice and depth of flavor of the red mop sauce. It is not a thick sauce but rather a thinflavorful sauce fully flavored and mildly spicy. Just like my grandfather used to make. The beans were rich and thick with ahearty smoky flavor. The potato salad was chunky and perfectly seasoned. Overall, an outstanding lunch and I will stop again onmy next trip through. Read more
