Ate at Ledgers for the first time in May and everything was absolutely wonderful. Because of that experience, my husband and I... decided to celebrate our anniversary there Sunday night. We did not make reservations, but felt like getting there two hoursbefore closing would give us plenty of time. When the hostess realized we did not have reservations, she advised that it wouldbe approximately a 30 minute wait which is very minimal compared to most places. She did not offer a friendly response when sherealized we were going to wait. Felt as if she was encouraging us to leave. She did the same thing with a party of three thatcame in after us. (Just seemed rude). Once they were ready to seat us, which didn?t seem long at all, we were walked throughthe restaurant and were sat on the Pub side. Was told Ledgers side is closed on Sunday nights. My fault for not knowing thatahead of time. Looks like she would have went ahead and directed us down the hall to the Pub, instead of having us wait in thelobby of the Ledgers. While eating our anniversary dinner in the Pub, we had the privilege of watching the staff clean thedining room around us, well before the 8:00 closing time. (We had eaten and left before 8). Although it was not the atmospherewe were anticipating, our waitress was super friendly and the food was great. Read more

Poor service. I ordered my steak medium and got rare. They brought it back to the kitchen and cooked it more and it was very... good. However, our server disappeared and we waited for our check for 45 minutes. Finally someone else allowed us to close ourticket so we could leave. Read more

Great steak, lovely atmosphere. Needs some taxidermy is all & salad bar should be included but it's $8 additionally.

My boyfriend brought me for my birthday dinner Saturday night and it was absolutely amazing. The steak was probably the best... I've ever had and the rest of our food, drinks, and dessert were also great. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us greatservice. She was very attentive. Plus, the outdoor view overlooking the water is so nice. Read more

Friendly service, delicious food, great venue! Roads in the way there are a little rough in Cullman County.

I was so excited to go, but was let down. I could have gotten the same thing anywhere. The waitress didn't tell us about an... upcharge of $8 on the one serving salad bar until we received the bill. She simply said the salad bar was a side. Steaks weregood. Expect to spend $$$. Glasses were not kept full. Read more

We were slightly wary to try Ledgers due to the negative reviews. Glad we gave it a shot. We had the tidbits as an appetizer and... they were great. My husband got a bowl of potato soup and a trip to the salad bar, all of which he said was fantastic. I had theFilet, it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the prime rib and he seemed to enjoy it as well. Overall we had no complaintsand enjoyed our evening. Read more

This is definitely one of the best places to eat in Cullman. We went to brunch and sat out on the deck in the Galley. The views... were amazing and the food was even better! Highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. Shrimp & Grits wasamazing as well, not too spicy but enough to call it Cajun. If you come for brunch the Chicken and Waffles are the best around! Read more
