So here I am, running late to my cat's vet appointment, waiting outside of sweet peppers for 5 minutes trying to get my food.... I'm yelling at the girl who can't find my order because my cat is growling in pain. Then this lovely lady Crystal comes out, andget this, it was under my wife Linda's name! LOL. Oh my Gawd! The Menu Choices are WOW! We were so impressed. The Food was delicious, and filling. The Staff was awesome!!! And...... they have a "Gluten Free" Menu!!! Some of the teen workers are very rude. My mother went in for the hiring sign & the boy told her she was too old . They only... hired younger people. I went up there to speak to the owner to see if this was the case or not. I recorded the wholeinteraction. The boy lied. The owner said for my mom to come back up there,but she never got a call back. My mother is a veryhard worker and not hiring someone because of her age is discrimination. I use to eat here,but will not support a business thathires rude teens & backs them up PERIOD! I have plenty of time for a return call when the owner returned the following week.That's been 3 weeks ago & nothing. As far as the food it's okay. A little pricey for what you get. It's a deli...nothingspecial,but a good inside environment to have lunch with friends& family. Unfortunately, my business was lost & I am sure aftertelling my church & others this experience they will think twice before eating here too... especially being they are older. Read more
Great food! I had the Philly Flatbread and gumbo. The staff was very nice and attentive. We waited in line for just a few... minutes (not an outrageous amount of time at all, and they were busy!) and they brought us free dessert! I met my Mom & Aunt for lunch last week. The food was served quickly and was so delicious. I had the salad and it had lots of... fresh, yummy toppings. Everything was really delicious. The employees were great and very sweet. Unfortunately the table wasvery sticky-the table next to us too-so our arms kept sticking. Maybe the cleaner? Anyway, will definitely come again. Read more
Okay, the only reason they get two stars is because of the employees, otherwise it would be one. The food was subpar compared... to last time I ate here. I had the brisket sandwich and it was very dry and bland. The Reuben my buddy had was also subpar. Drymeat with a ton of fat. As previously mentioned, the staff were all great in every way possible.
