This is my first ever google review but honestly I was just so impressed I had to write one. My grandpa and I love going out to... eat new places and we?ve wanted to go here for a while and finally made it happen. We can talk about the atmosphere first, it?srelaxing it?s, cozy, it?s upscale without feeling stuffy, it has a nice fire place and table by it which is prime seating. Themusic was lovely. Everything was 10/10 The food. The food was TO DIE FOR. It was tasty, you could tell love and care went intothe dish and the cooks knew what they were doing. My grandpa is lactose intolerant and they worked with him to make sure he hada dish he could eat. The food is filling without leaving you feel like a thanksgiving stuffed turkey. The owner was walkingaround checking on everyone, getting his hands ?dirty? imo being the type of owner every restaurant should have. We felt checkedin on, without feeling suffocated, forgotten, or rushed out. They had a delicious and wide variety of desserts. If I could give10 stars I would. 11/10. I left this place and turned to my grandpa and asked if we could go again. Read more

We did the $35 restaurant week deal, and thought it was overpriced. Food was good, but the main entrees were all under seasoned.... The dessert was probably my least favorite, the chocolate cake was bitter and the frosting was gritty. One persons appetizer wascompletely forgotten, which happens its busy. Another problem was a staff member kept running in and out to smoke in the back, and it drafted into the restaurant and that's all I could smell for a bit. Read more

Pretty patio for outdoor dining. Good mushroom ravioli with shrimp. "Lamb lollipops" were a delicious appetizer. They sold out... of the dessert I wanted to try, several other options also on offer. The staff are nice, they just come by too often for mypreference, though I know lots of folks like that interaction. Read more

Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, great service! We came here while visiting Shenandoah and tried the salmon and catfish... dishes, which were both absolutely delicious ? the creamy orzo that came on the side was amazing too. All the drinks werefabulous, and the waitress was telling us about the very cool history of the building. Delicious, sophisticated food with stillvery casual vibe in the restaurant. Would recommend! We just happened to visit during Restaurant Week! An app, main course, and dessert for $35. The atmosphere was lovely, live... music too. I didn?t take a picture of my main course but I got a duck leg and it didn?t disappoint. I live in DC, so my friendsand I really enjoyed eating here and visiting this small town! Read more

Hubby and I live over an hour away. We used to live close to Culpeper and we had intended to go somewhere else that we used to... enjoy, but they were too busy. So, we went for a walk and found this gem! The service is unparalleled. The owner, AndrewFerlazzo, makes you feel like family. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was great (Sunday brunch buffet), andthe ambience had a relaxed, jazzy vibe. We'll be more than happy to make that drive again to try some food on the menu and enjoysome live entertainment.
