Have been going here for over 15+ years! Food is always great and prices are affordable, environment is comfy and lots of Culver... paraphernalia! Love all of the Mexican dishes and the breakfast items! Service hasn?t always been the best but Definitelyunderstandable on how tight service is especially on busy weekends! Leading, training, and hiring in a business alone isdefinitely not easy as well! Sinful French Toast, Hot chocolate, Frozen drinks, cappuccinos, Quesadillas, Sandwiches all great! Read more

We had a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Service was great, our coffee and soda cups were always full. The... kids loved their chocolate milk. We can't wait to go back. Read more

Probably the worst latte I?ve ever gotten. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. It was $5.62 for a small I tipped... $1 so $6.62(slightly over an avg price but I?m willing to pay for a good latte). It was bitter and flavorless. I did not tastespices or even anything sweet in it. The young lady I placed and order with was nice but the ordering experience was veryawkward. I ordered it at the hostess stand and it took about 10 mins for it to come out. While I was waiting I was really surewhy it?s was taking so long and I didn?t see anyone making it. I also did not notice an espresso machine so I wonder if theyjust used regular coffee. All in all I think this place is trying to do too much and should just call themselves a ?familyrestaurant?. Then when they sell bad coffee it?s to be expected. Read more

Although the service and food quality is excellent, the pancakes were grainy and the shrimp tacos should have had the spicy ????... sauce served on the side to let you adjust the flavor heat to your liking. Read more

Without a question the place to be for breakfast in Culver. Other meals are good for breakfast as where it shines. The only... downside I?ve experienced is that they can get overwhelmed and thus slow. Read more

I went with a large party and were seated quickly. Kudos to the server, local utility company was working on power lines and... knocked out the power for a bit for the non-kitchen side and the computers were out. We came close to closing so we allthought we would have to order pizza. She took our orders by hand! I can only speak of the fried chicken and mac and cheese. Both were excellent. The fried chicken has to be in my top 5 if not top 3 of all restaurant fried chicken I've eaten. Thecrunch was spot on, and the taste was delicious! You get the breast, thigh, wing and leg! The mac and cheese was served in alittle cast iron skillet. It was good, but nothing special. When I say nothing special, I mean like it didn't have any otherlittle 'add-on's' like I've had elsewhere like bacon or other tasty things. But for homemade, it was good. The owner also cameout and we met her dog. I was glad she greeted us. If I didn't tell her about how the server helped saved our dinner, I hopeshe can read it now! We all came in from separate places that took hours to drive, and we did not want to get bar food orpizza. Thank you! Read more

A visit to Culver would not be complete without a meal at Cafe Max. The environment is nostalgic and interesting, and i always... find something new on the walls that i had not noticed before. The service is friendly and fast, even when the restaurant ispacked with people. The food is delicious, consistent and delightfully unhealthy. It is always a pleasure to come back to CafeMax.
