I had the fish and chips basket. It's listed on the menu as a half pound of fish but I think it's somewhat short of that. It's... breaded cod and very tasty. Breading is a little thicker than I like but the flavor is fantastic. It normally comes with housemade potato chips or you can have fries for a small upcharge. Great decor! I felt like I was on vacation. The jalapeño pinable margaritas (forgot the name) were the best I've ever had.... Food was good but not great and mind bowing limited selection. But was top notch bar kinda food choices. Reminded me of a menuat a fancy golf course bar house. Not a full restaurant menu.. (like choice of only 2 types of steak and burgers kinda deal). Read more
Always love the Hawaiian Burger subbed with chicken. Salads and fries are great. Great environment, seating, and outdoor patio.... Peggy is always great! Kelly was a great host and even brought my food out. Unfortunately, as a single on the patio it?s easy toattend to other needs rather than the lone single. Blonde server maybe also named Kelly (said on bill) took awhile to come outonce seated. She was nice but not attentive or intentional and did not offer desserts before handing me the bill. Pet peeve ifnot asked for desserts before the bill unless business is too busy. Very distant on overall service for having one other tableat 3:00. Not mad just offering feedback on service. The salad I had was absolutely the best Cob I ever had. I should of had the chef toss it with the dressing on it. My husband... had a Burger and he really enjoyed it. He said the meat was so juicy and was very tasty. The whole menu looked so good it was atough choice. We will be returning soon. Sat and dined in the outdoor area. The lake breeze was delightful! I ordered the Cobb Salad and added strawberries.. the salad... was beautifully presented and the flavor was outstanding!! I made a reservation to go here for my boyfriend?s birthday. We both never dined here before, living 40 minutes away. We were... greeted by the host (his name was Mitch). Once the host sat us down, he returned and said he?d be taking care of us. Mitch did awonderful job serving us! The food was fantastic. My boyfriend loved his steak and I loved my salmon. Was cold inside and thus the food was cold. Wifes mashed potatoes would not even melt the butter. Fries were cold, some not... done. Cole slaw was tasteless. Soda was good and green beans were good. I got ribs and drowned in sauce even though Ispecifically asked NO SAUCE. Couldn't taste the ribs, only the sauce. Crab cakes were flavorful but mushy. Came here for drinks late one evening and they were having karaoke. First time here and had a great time. Big crowd all night... long and had a great time. Karaoke was going strong till almost closing time if the bar. Also has an outdoor area with tablesand seating and fireplaces and pits to keep you warm in colder weather.
