**3 Year's later and this location still can't seem to get it right.(11/2022) They refuse to take phone orders, they won't start... your online order early. The Manager is in desperate need of Customer Service training. You are forced to visit this locationdue to nothing else being closer, I literally feel like I'm being held hostage to however they want to treat me when orderingand picking up my food.** This review is not based on the food, but on the Customer Service that I received. I have visitedthis location several times and the food is always good. There is one so-called manager that has made me not want to return tothis location solely based on his horrible lack of customer service. He was not wearing his name badge otherwise I would statehis name but he wears glasses, has his black curly hair in a ponytail. When placing my order he kept cutting me off midsentence, when asked was that it my friend steps in and says "I'll have the same thing she is having". Now once I was paying, Iwas running my mouth speaking with my friend and did not notice the total amount. After sitting down, I glanced at the receiptand saw 1 order. I proceeded to the counter and asked for the manager, the gentleman indicated that he was the manager a putout his hand to shake. I explained the situation, we walk over to the pay counter, he tells the "ponytail guy" what to do, themanager apologies, tells me he will take care of it, but for some odd reason "ponytail guy" with an attitude yells out, "why doI have to give her a discount?". I quickly get the manager again and I inform him that "ponytail guy" is rude and inappropriateand I refuse to deal with his unnecessary attitude. The first manager had to once again speak with "ponytail guy" and duringtheir interaction he was still giving attitude and push back to the point where the first manager just had to ring up mytransaction and "ponytail guy" walked away into the back. Bottom line, I will not be spending my money at t Read more

NOT RECOMMENDED! I visited this "California Fish Grill" at 6150 Slauson Ave, Culver City, CA 90230, twice to eat lunch. At my... first visit I ordered Tilapia ($12.12). At my second visit I ordered Grilled Shrimp Louie Salad ($14.62). Surprisingly theTilapia wasn't over-salted and tasted good but the fish fillets were instead full of black burnt stuff (see pictures). The blackstuff are often Acrylamide which builds on foods that contain sugars and certain amino acids when cooked at high temperatures, such as frying, roasting, or baking. Studies and researches have found that Acrylamide exposure increases the risk for severaltypes of cancers In the body, Acrylamide is converted to a compound called glycidamide , which causes mutations in and damage toDNA. The burnd black stuff are also sign of a grill that haven't been cleaned properly. At my second visit, I ordered GrilledShrimp Louie Salad. The shrimp were extremely salty and extreamly over-seasened! (See pictures). Salt-rich diet can raise bloodpressure, which can raise our risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other woes! The amount of salt and the way the fishs andshrimps are grilled at this place in combination with the amount of salt and extreamly seasened food have resulted in thisnegativ review! Very disappointed! Total score: NOT RECOMMANDED! Here are some pictures taken by me. Read more

I am so disappointed ????. My husband and I visited CFG! They are now using frozen fish, and seasoning over the top of the... fish. We ordered the battered fish. Yuck! Seasoning on top of the veggies as well. Dissatisfied because I've always lovedCFG! From the very start! This is our date night! Only ice can fix this!. ????. I hope things get back to normal and they areable to get the fresh fish they always had. Sorry they've had to lower their standards.???? Read more

I used to come here all the time but have not been here in over a year and has it ever changed. It used to be $26 per entree... with 2 big pieces of fish. Ate there last Sunday it was $35 for 1 small piece of fish. Tons of Brown Rice, I ordered Zuchinniand they gave me Cauliflower Rice. I used to get 2 meals out of 1 entree but not now. I will never eat here again. Read more

This location is in California Fish Grill. After speaking with the employee, it sounds like this place will not be for in store... ordering, rather third party delivery like grub hub. I got the Louie, which is a shrimp patty with vegetables and a chipotlesauce. It was good, the sauce was a little watery. I also got a side of the half and half Brussel sprouts + tots. This wasaccompanied with vegetables and some balsamic sauce. Portion was a bit in the small side. Overall, pretty good and healthymeal. It?ll be interesting to see how the business does if they don?t allow ordering in store in the future. Read more

Have been here twice. Good selection on the menu. Prices are decent. Can get crowded. Parking is shared with other businesses,... so be patient. The second day we tried this place the line was out the door into the patio area. They sadly ran. Out of friesand white rice, that's how busy they get. We tried the side calamari, fish and chips, grilled chicken, and a shrimp dish. Allpretty good and fresh. I would come back as there menu is pretty big. Read more
