Pasta was good- it was my first time trying the pasta pearls and they were interesting! Not sure if I’d order the pasta pearls... again but the flavors were good. Read more

Great experience through and through. We had a reservation for 3, but our 3rd was running late due to coming from out of town.... On a Saturday night, they still let us take our seats, despite our whole party not being present yet. This was greatlyappreciated. I personally had the Fregola Di Mare which was amazing. Very flavorful, and a good amount of seafood on the platefor the price. They also had an expansive wine selection. For anyone who enjoys trying wines, you'll have fun at this spot. Read more

Felt very authentic Italian from the staff to the clientele (which is always one of the best signs :D). Went for lunch for a... work meeting, would definitely return maybe for a dinner date or with friends, this place seems very flexible to differentneeds/vibes. Lots of nice indoor and equally nice patio seating, I definitely will be returning! Read more

Fantastic Italian meal! The lobster mango salad was delicious and refreshing. Pizza was thin and crispy! Pasta was a perfect... al dente. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean. A definite must if you're in the area. Read more

Party of 4 adults and a 10 year old dined on the patio on a Saturday night. Made a 7:30pm reservation and had no issues. The... patio has tons of heaters and is really well done, so great venue. This would be a great date spot or parents-night outplace. Service was also very good as there is only Sardinians doing service which is great for a Sardinian restaurant. Weasked to have all the Sardinian specialties and even did a nice bottle of Sardinian red wine. Overall the food was good withnice presentation. Meal started out amazing and then the entrees were good but not at the same level in ouropinion. Appetizers -------------------- Moscardini of baby octopus in a brown tomato sauce (one the highlights of thenight) Fregola Salad - Really amazing and filling Mains ------------------- Malloreddus - Pork sausage pasta with saffron andfennel was nice Culurgiones - Potato ravoli was just okay Napoli Pizza - Great taste but a touch under cooked Kids Pasta -Daughter got just a penne & cheese pasta (and it was the best thing in the night) Did some gelato and coffee/cappuccinos (greatcafes). Total with tip & tax was $250.00. Tip: Parking is a pain around the area but we pulled into the hotels valet acrossthe street, just gave the guy a big tip and there was no charge! Read more

Delicious Italian food with some unique flavours. Nice outdoor patio with heat lamps that turn on automatically. Good... professional service. I had the burrata appetizer and the lasagna entree and both were fantastic. The tomato sauce reminded meof my mom's homemade tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes, robust and delicious. Read more

I had dinner with a friend at Carasau this last Tuesday and Jesús what a bizarre experience. They have a nice patio and it’s... sort of tucked away in downtown Culver City but I will advise- you can use the valet parking across the street at the hotelbecause parking in the area was horrible (not that it’s not most places in LA but just a heads up- it is here too). We orderedthe Caesar salad and fritto misto to start. The salad was fine enough but the seafood tasted like it had been cooked fiveminutes too long- calamari was rubbery snd the breading was crumbling back to well...breadcrumbs. The sauces served with itdidn’t add enough to save it but man was that free bread good ???? For our entrees we ordered the filet, the salmon, and thespaghetti alle vongole to share. I’ll start with the good- spaghetti alle vongole was a pretty darn big plate of pasta and hada decent flavor to it. Meanwhile, this became one of the saddest days of my life by finding out there is a way that I could notenjoy mashed potatoes. I feel ashamed even saying that out loud but man these things were BLAND. And oddly chunky? The spinachserved with tasted like if someone also legitimately just boiled a bag of spinach; not even sautéed but BOILED. Whatever saucewas with the salmon added no flavor and I feel like it’s the first time in my life I’ve eaten an olive and it tasted likenothing. Not being, just nothing which is somewhat impressive. The salmon was over cooked to the point that it was chewy andsort of burnt on the ends and man did that steak need salt. Since we couldn’t finish either of our dishes we decided to giveit one last try and eat our feelings in dessert. This is where they redeemed themselves. That pastry with honey? GET IT. It’sso good! How! After such a bad meal! HOW! Who cares. It’s delicious. The parfait was also pretty appetizing. More so than therest of the meal. Oh, meanwhile this whole thing happening, the woman I’m guessing was the owner (?) was coming arou Read more
